  1. I've tracked my car many times HICAS is great, it gives you MORE turn in in mid speed corners. I think HICAS is great.
  2. Been to the track in both HICAS and non HICAS skylines and I can honestly say that HICAS helps quite a bit in the corners allowing you to turn in just a bit more then the non hicas car. Anything under 30km/h HICAS does NOTHING, anything up to 80km/h turns the wheels the opposite way as the fronts allowing tighter cornering (calculates how much angle depending on steering wheel position and speed) after 80km/h it will turn the wheels the same way creating a dog leg effect that will give you more high speed stability. As long as you don't plan on drifting then HICAS is great.
  3. R32 GTE - RB20E - 130 ps (96 kW) - 181 N·m (18,5 kgf·m) R32 GTS - RB20DE - 160bhp (114 kW) - 186 N·m (19 kgf·m) R32 GTS25 - RB25DE - 190 bhp (140 kW) - 255 N·m (26.0 kgf·m) R33 GTS - RB20E - 130 ps (96 kW) - 181 N·m (18,5 kgf·m) R33 GTS25 - RB25DE - 200 bhp (147 kW) (with VCT) - 255 N·m (26.0 kgf·m) R33 GTS-4 - RB25DE - 200 bhp (147 kW) (with VCT) - 255 N·m (26.0 kgf·m) The R32 is a bit lighter, and I know first hand that it handles great, we don't have R33's here yet so I can't really compare. I know the R32 GTS is still a sporty car, doesn't have the kick of the GTS-t but then I guess thats the point of a first car.
  4. We don't have 34's here in canada (not legally anyway) so I can't compare but I can say that r32 GTR's are reliable, make sure everything is in order and keep up the maintenance and your good to go.
  5. I've driven both GTS-t's GTS-4's Silvia K's and 180sx's and I would have to say I like the ca18det the best of all 3...
  6. well in 5th gear at 7,500 rpm your at 270km/h... and that is the top speed a stock gts-t gear set will go. At a 140km/h thats when you hit about 4000rpm's but in 5th ( I've never checked 4th )
  7. As he stated ^^^^ either you have not pluged the hicas back in or you don't have your wheel at 0.
  8. Well my I have been asked many times if my car is new ( aka 2007) The only thing I've done to the outside look really is black out the stock headlights. R32's can be made to look pretty fresh. Gets my vote but then again I would love to own a Silvia S13.
  9. Yes but GTS-t's and GTR's are very different, Rwd/4wd single turbo/twin turbo, if your a drifter the GTR is not for you. The RB26 swap into a R33 GTS isn't cost effective or nessesary put that money into the RB25 its a great engine too.
  10. Cut wire 53 ( unless you have HICAS ) or get a speed limit defender, or as stated above aftermarket ECU
  11. Reviving this thread with a new photo shoot.
  12. Heh the GTS-4 is a bit of a pig compared to the R32 GTS-t and GTR, weight of a GTR and power of a GTS-t. You should post up a thread here and on GTRCanada of your car. I can't say that I've even seen it.
  13. 1400 is probably the 4wd version
  14. Very Nice MMmm r34 GT-T 4 door.. me like..
