  1. Hi all, So about 15 months ago I bought an R33 GTST. When I got it, changed all of the fluids and belts (including timing with the help of a qualified mechanic mate). It's pretty stock, stock ECU and turbo. It has an electronic boost controller and (I believe) a Z32 afm. It was having misfiring issues and idling (cold and warm) so I changed the coilpacks, sparkplugs and cleaned the AAC valve, which solved the problem. It then started to be restricted at high RPM - it was a dirty fuel filter. The car was usually garaged however I have now moved at it sits outside all the time. It has developed a cold starting problem which has been getting progressively worse. The car will crank fine (doesn't seem to be battery) and will fire once or twice and then stall. If the key is held on it will struggle around 300-500rpm and MAYBE will catch and run. If the key isn't held it will take 4-5 goes to get it to crank and fire and not stall. This only happens when the car is dead cold. After it has been run for any amount of time, (any more than say a minute) it will fire back up first time no troubles at all. It runs perfectly once it is started, boosts fine ect. I looked around the forums and found a cold start valve being full of gunk, pulled it off and it was clean as a whistle. I thought it might've been fuel however there is no issues at all once it is started so I didn't think it would be the pump or filter. Just looking for suggestions at the moment, don't want to go replacing things for no reason. Does anyone have any ideas? Cheers.
