I notice a pinging type of sound in my V36 more during warmer months driving up a slight hill @ approx 40-50kmh in the higher gears. Sometimes it does it so randomly that I wonder if it could actually be a timing chain type of noise/rattle. As for fuel economy I cant really complain, as I consistently get in the low 9l/100km driving very conservatively. I also believe my tyre choice and wheel alignment played a roll in getting those figures as I used to average in the mid 10 - low 11l/100km. I only run Mobil 98 from X-Convenience.

Im looking to buy a 2018+ Infiniti Q50 Redsport, preferably in Pure White (may consider other whites), Iridium Blue or Liquid Platinum. KMS can be around 40,000 or less and preferably unmodified. If you are considering selling one of the above, drop me a line. Thanks for reading.

Why go to all the hassle of using the aux. If you have bluetooth in the car, just use that and stream all the music off your phone. Easy as.

Confirmation from Fast.... The PL and I guess the LF are for the DE engine which hav different plugs to the HR. If for the HR motor I would be heading towards the DF7H-11B, myself.

I haven't had much luck yet; Been a bit slack and a bit nervous probing back there even though I do have some US FSM. I was even given a probe extender (a wire with a sharp point on one end) so it would make the job easier. I just have to get the courage to get in there and test it for myself.

When I mention I've searched the above FSM, they all show a red speed wire going to pin 28 @ the a/c amp/unified meter, (for the trip computer data) but my(our JDM) cars dont have the same wire in the same spot, which I was hoping if anyone else had come across this and solved this problem. Yes I know of this, I have done this in my Stagea, and now wish to do the same in my V36.

Im trying to fit an analogue cruise control kit to my 07 V36 Does anyone know where to find an analogue speed sensor wire for an 07 V36? I've searched high and low through many g35/g37/j50 FSM and cant find any wiring remotely close to the JDM Skyline cars. I've also searched on here to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Im interested in this unit. do you have any details, maybe an ebay item number. Was it on the Oz site or American? Any other details you care to divulge would be interesting to know thanks

... and you are running those tyres on the original V36 wheels?

Does it give you a wiring diagram for the switches? I'd love to get a copy of it if you have it please.

Have you had any issues with ABS or VDC or even scrubbing the suspension by changing the size of the front tyres? Out of curiosity what tyres are you running ?

For what its worth for any one reading this, I bit the bullet and bought the band expander from Sinergy. It was a simple plug and play exercise and took approx 30mins or so. I can say it works fine and where the band expander in my PM35 struggles to pick up a station, (on FM) the one in my V36 excels, I live approx 30km from Adelaide CBD and what could be classed as in the foothills so that always played havoc in my PM35 until I started driving towards the CBD.

You mention top left corner to bottom right corner with two different measurements? How can that be?

V36 Front Bar Hi Does anyone out there with an 07 V36 Sedan Type S know the height of the bezel/grille in the front bar, where fog lights would normally go. Also is it removable? I've tried looking at pictures and it seems small. I want to fit 90mm lights down there and Im preparing in advance so I dont have a car to look at. Pics for clarification. Any help greatly appreciated.

Does your car have a factory tv tuner in it, and if so, can you 'tap' into it to piggback a media player of sort with usb function to get your music playing that way?

Yes Im familiar with the band expander having fitted one myself into my PM35. Not worried about AM though Yes I was more worried about picking up FM radio. I like to mix it up with FM radio or MP3, which I have now, playing through a TV tuner with usb input. So what do people do if they have the ISDB-TSB radio? Pull it out & put in an aftermarket deck? I know I didnt really have that option with my PM35. Not cheaply anyway.

Looking at the V36 for my next car, The digital radio was mentioned briefly. Would it work here or would you have to change the radio to an Australian version to pick up Australian radio?

I got a tuner off ebay. The sellers claimed it would still have reception @ 160km/h+. It struggles at 40-60km/h let alone 160km/h, its like joshm35 said, picture freezes and you lose reception. Problem is you can tune it in @ one location, then as you drive you lose the signal. But i didnt get it soley for the tv. I got one with a usb input, plugged in a 32gb flashdrive, so then I could use it as my media player, playing my music (cd player died a couple of years ago) and movies for the little one.

Well if its not charging it could be the internally mounted regulator which has died. Im sure any half decent auto elec can test its output. Sounds like he just doesnt want to deal with it coz its not a holden or ford. If it is the reg, then consider the option of replacing it with a complete bosch unit, then it will be easier to get parts for later on.

On the occasions I need paint work done, I used Silver Motor Bodies @ Windsor Gardens. They do a lot of late model high end cars like porsche, Range Rovers etc. Also they dont look down @ you for driving a Nissan. Speak to Tony (owner) or Joyce.
