  1. I have a RB25det Neo in my R32 and I blew a turbo seal. Instead of getting the turbo rebuilt I have bought a top mount manifold, wastegate and a new turbo. The old turbo has a coolant line running through it obviously to cool the turbo but my new turbo does not need one. Now do I............... 1. block off the old lines back at the block to stop this or 2. do I need to connect these two hoses together using another hose so that it still has flow through this line???? Will it make a difference detrimentally if I just block it off? Thanks guys
  2. It is hell easy as long as you have the pin out diagram for each ECU and just follow the Tutorial.
  3. Depending on if you get a front cut or a package deal I think it cost $4800 all up including parts. If you can remove the Rb20 and get the Rb25 in by youreslf then you are a long way ahead. There are a fee Tutorials on what you have to do in the Forums, just get your new motor and go from there.
  4. I know what you are getting at and before i removed my setup it was filter topside on the strut tower. I would wait an hour or two for the oil to cool down and drop my oil at the sump, this would then syphon any oil still in the filter down the oil lines. I would still get a few drops but it is a relatively clean process. If you want to mount it low on the chassis rail there will be no gravity to move the oil from the filter back through the lines and then you will be having a messy time. So up high is ok but down low is a no go.
  5. Well my speedo decided to shit itself going over Mount Nebo again and I thought it was just the cog, but to my elation when I pulled the speedo sender body out before, the cog and the other half of the drive weren't there. It is an RB25det conversion into an R32. Were could I get at the missing piece from? On top at the shifter? Or am I going to have to drag the gearbox out, are there any tutorials on this??? Thank you, Jarrod
  6. I think the wrong plugs have rooted my coil packs. I changed the plugs and not two weeks later I need two new coil packs. I actually have an RB25det Neo motor and I am wondering what plugs to put in it? I have Splitfire coil packs coming in a week and I will be running 10Psi. Cheers, Jarrod
  7. I was having this problem yesterday. Coil packs 5&6 went open circuit on me for no apparent reason. Drove to work, left the car for 8hours then jumped back in and on starting it it sounded funny. Went home and with a Mulit meter checked all the coil packs resistence , 1,2,3 were 0.6 to 0.9 but 4 was 1.4 and 5 and 6 were nothing. Splitfires on the way.
  8. I forgot to mention it is a Rb25det Neo motor and gearbox with 84,000klms on them, not5 120,000klms.
  9. Here is one I found, if you need a photo of any specific area let me know.
  10. I have an R32 with an Rb25det conversion in it and the bloke who I bought it off could not tell me what model the RB25det was out of. (either series one or two R33 or R34). By supplying the engine number could someone please let me know what series or model it is from. Iam trying to buy Splitfire coil packs and there are a few different types for different RB motors. Engine number: RB25 3260587A Thanks in advance guys Jarrod

The bump near the fuel filler was done just before I bought the car and is not really bad. Paint is scratched and the small indentation could be pulled out easily, I just haven't had time with work. I have ordered 6 splitfire coil packs that will be installed when sold and I have also ordered a new speedo cable which will also be installed. Images:
  12. I have done this conversion but I am not sure if I have done it properly. I have a R32 with the R33 motor and box. I bought the R33 cog and the Navara speedo and put the cog onto the navara center drive and then put it into the R32 speedo sender housing. I got 99.8klms out of it before it stopped working. Any ideas, was I surpose to leave it in the Navara speedo sender body and not change it over into the R32 speedo sender body????? At least it worked for a bit.
  13. Remove from list please. I was banking on the close date being the 11th of April and I still have not heard anything. Have taken another quicker avenue. Organisation please.
  14. Damn awesome grille. The fibreglass was that good it did not need any prep work before painting. Before and afters. Thanks again. Jarrod
  15. I cut one and a half meters off my garden hose and ran it down past the brake booster and into the side/ top of the gearbox. Add a funnell and you are away.
