  1. wow this sums up my problem perfectly. I got a turbosmart bleed valve and a trust v-spl FMIC fitted and now can't go over 5000 rpm without it misfiring (feels like boost cut but turbosmart is as low as it can go) took car to dyno and they said my coils are farked and they are going to put on some aftermarket ones. wish I had read this thread 24 hours ago (new coils were installed today and is being put back on dyno in morning) could of saved myself 800 bucks
  2. I'm interested in this, I was debating buying a trust kit jsut for the ease of it all. Can you give me a ball park figure on piping costs for a r33 gts25t? Regards,
  3. hiya, I'm very interested as I was about to order a trust complete FMIC kit for $1,180. can you give me a rough estimate at cost of piping? or anyone who as brought and already fitted one of these coolers? thanks
  4. I'm very interested in this thread, please let us know the outcome ferni.
  5. is thomastown north? If so Centerline suspension 72 lipton drive thomastown 0394692914 whitelines resellers I got some koni adjustables fitted by them, all in all nice place and nice blokes.
  6. thanks guys, I might try customline jsut cos its so close and then next time around XTC cheers
  7. I just got a letter from the epa for exhaust noise, went to a epa approved tester and it was hassle free. took about 10 mins. they rev'ed the car to 5000rpm and it recorded a 88db reading, they cleared it and all I need to do is sent a letter to the epa. although this isn't what you got dicked for it might be usefull info. personally if I had the gofastbits stealth bov on I'd leave it on as it plumb back and you only change it when your at the track
  8. So I decided to go to another testing place today (place in preston) got the test done without any hassles came in at 88db so it just passed (limit is 90db) test was done with mic about a metre from exhaust at 4800rpm and they held it for about 30 seconds they did the test 3 times and highest reading was 88db cost $29
  9. update. I went to place today to get noise test. Said at current level it would pass easy but he won't test it as he things I have a restrictor somewhere reduring airflow. Said he will only test it if I allow him to check echaust first (no cost if he doesn't find a restrictor and $45 bucks if he does) I aggreed as I just got front pipe and hiflow cat put on a few months back and don't believe they added a restrictor to quiten it down (by restrictor he said he meant a full piece of metal with a few holes cut in it somewhere between front pipe and cat to reduce airflow) will update on saturday morning.
  10. hi inark, hows things? I miss you... hahah
  11. I'm finding it hard to find a good workshop to goto for a major service, I've been to ICE and UPI in the past but wrong side of town for me. Any suggestions for epping/millpark area?
  12. saying someone from the police force has reported my car as being to loud. I have a full 3inch exhaust with a hi flow cat and apexi muffler with 5" tip compared to alot of other cars I've never really thought my car was loud, so I've got my car booked in for a noise test in the morning. Praying I will come in under 90db. Has anyone else been reported? Did you find your exhaust was too loud? At what rpm was the test done at? but basically I bet I get :Owned: and come in over 90db tomorrow
  13. Ok firstly I couldn't be bothered reading all the replys so sorry if this is a repeat of another post. I've been here done that. lost license for 3 months. got pulled over 3 times while having no license and given tickets each time for speeding, wasn't till the 3rd time someone actually checked to see if i had a license and therefore i got ****ed and had to goto court. got a lawyer went to court got off with a $500 fine no extra time losted on license and infact no mention of the previous 2 tickets i had got while suspended. got a short speech about how my record is worst then most people who have been driving for three times as long etc and that was that got my license back 2 weeks later. currently I have lost my license again have refrained from driving as I figure i won't be so lucky a second time.. anyway just my 2 cents.
