I have my set of OZ Racing 3 piece 18x9 +22 5x114.3 wheels for sale, In immaculate condiion, no curb marks or scuffs, will suit, skyline, gtr/gts, silvia ceffie, laurel, stagea with 5x114.3 pcd, slightly dishy but not over the top, will fill the guards up however. no tyres fitted, but will throw in a pair of 255/35/r18 toyo semi slicks with 50-60% tread these no longer fit my new brake setup so need to move them on.. $1000 firm pm or 0411 59 49 48, located in Perth

  8. Just before christmas and a new baby arriving, I had my series 1 nicked from outside my house. Got paid out for it eventually but cops found it sitting in a quiet neighbourhood, they had tried to light a fire in it and had nicked my music and odb interface cable. I'd just put a new cambelt, waterpump rear shocks and front bumper on right before it was nicked. gutted. Anyway, enough sob story: I need a new car. I loved the open road handling, and I'm loath to go back to something shittier. While I'm entertaining the idea of another stagea maybe the m35 if I can afford, I'm also seeing cefiros - think they have different engines, but seem fairly similar otherwise. Does anyone know how they handle compared to a stagea? do they have simliar chops with regards to body roll etc. I'm not into lowered, race performance, with giant wheels, just a good family wagon that handles nicely on the road. And I like 6 cylinders. interested to hear anyone's thoughts
  9. For sale is my 1991 Nissan A31 Cefiro. Series 2 RB25DET conversion, Serviced every 5000km's with Penrite 10Tenths Fully synthetic 15w50 Racing Oil, 3 inch full turbo back exhaust, Hi-flow cat, Manual RB20 gearbox, 5 stud conversion front and rear, R34 GT-T front brakes and R32 rear brakes, DBA slotted rotors front and rear, Tein coilovers, Whiteline swaybars front and rear, alloy radiator, Walbro fuel pump, Yellow Jacket coilpacks (fitted may 2014), Remote oil filter and oil cooler, battery has been replaced to a 600cca also. Interior: Dark interior, Manual dash cluster, manual centre console plastics, S15 drivers seat, full passenger capacity rollcage (modplated), Nardi Classic steering wheel, dash mat, cold air con, Cefiro floor mats, Boot interior complete. Exterior: Autech Front Lip, Series 3 Chrome Grill, B&N side skirts, Autech copy rear bar, Dark slimline weathershields, Blitz Type 03 2 piece 18x9 +22 rims all round, Federal 595 ss tyres all round done approx 5000k's, Custom flared wheel arches, DMAX Roof spoiler, Dark series 3 tailights (currently has dark and red as drivers side dark has a crack), has been resprayed in Ford Ego Gunmetal Grey, CEF111 personalised number plates (can be sold with/without plates) All major modifications are mod plated and were done by previous owner as this cefiro was originally a non-turbo, auto, 4 stud. Motor has done about 150000 k's. This is one of the cleanest Cefiro's I have seen inside and out, very well looked after and maintained. Since owning this vehice I have done the usual services (oil, oil filter, spark plugs, air filter, fuel filter) fitted the rear DBA slotted rotors as well as the rear Bendix brake pads and fitted the rims with Federal 595ss (done approx 5000k). I have also purchased high flow cat, all new inlet to rocker cover, rocker cover to rocker cover and rocker cover to exhaust hoses from nissan as the old ones were rock hard. April this year I have replaced all inlet gaskets as well as getting the fuel rail cleaned, injectors fitted with new pintle caps as well as new orings to the inlet where the injectors sit, new top radiator hose with fresh coolant as well as new thermostat and rocker cover gaskets. May this year have just fitted new Yellow Jacket coil packs ($410) as my old stock ones were buggered. Selling my car due to our family going back to one so mine is on the firing line. Car has always been reliable (my family car) so I hope the next owner will love it as much as I do. Can sell with roadworthy or you can get your own whichever works/easier. Cash talks, not interested in swaps of any kind. I travel to caboolture once a fortnight for anyone who doesn't want to travel to Gympie to view the car. $11500 ono. Rego due 12/10/2014.   13. I've just fitted some Splitfire SF-DIS-001 coilpacks. Initial test shows a big improvement. The car now starts instantly and no more misfire under acceleration. Not bad for an hour's work. The manual has a warning saying that after fitting them, you may get knocking/detonation and should adjust the timing to suit. I'm fairly sure the timing isn't adjustable on these engines. Is that the case? Should I be disconnecting the battery to do an ECU reset, or is that not a thing on these ECUs? I'm also thinking that next time I go into that area, I want to get rid of the pointless cover. Literally the only use it serves is to provide a mount for the power transistor. Question is where is a good place to relocate the power transistor to? Should I just cut the cover down to just the last 4 screws as even this will make it less annoying to deal with as it won't conflict with the J pipe. Anything else I should know?

  15. Hi guys, im currently living out of Aus for a few years and would like to pick up a cheap car for daily driving and fun cruising on the weekend. I have average experience with cars and do alot of reading on specs/stats etc. I would like to know some pros and cons from users here in regards to buying a 2nd hand cefiro with one of these turbo engines. Im a big fan of these 3 engines and there is a large supply of cefiros for sale with these engines available in them. Now obviously it depends how good the work has been done on the car, but for now i would like to be able to narrow my search on them. It will most likely be personal preference of which engine, but in regards for maintenance etc and less issues of modified engines i have heard the 1jz is quite reliable. Rb25 would be great, and the 2jz has always made me cream myself as a youngster watching my first mkiv supra fly by...... If anyone has experience in these engines in a conversion point of view, especially in a cefiro could you please let me know. I would be driving manual. A few of them have had LPG conversions too.....im not too fond of the idea and i have done some googling on LPG tubo cars, but could i get some light shed on the idea of LPG in a turbo car. The reason for buying a cefiro is because years ago they were a bigger import here and anything such as a skyline, or silvia/s14/180sx are a few thousand $ more than the cefiros that have had some slight work........hence the choice of the A31. I have drivin in some old soarers and a chaser. Ive never drivin a rb25det. They are all fun to ride in but now that im looking at 1 chasis and have to choose which engine its quite difficult! I enjoy my cars and im not too biased about them. Dont be upset or biased about a nissan running a toyota engine please!! Just give me your thoughts from a tuners POV. Thanks heaps!   18. JaysCefy Hello all. I'm a US military member stationed in Japan and have just bought a 92 Cefy. I haven't actually taken possession of it yet, but it's on it's way (shipping to Okinawa from mainland). The car is RB20DET, factory 5 speed so wherever I go next it can come with me. Even to the US with it's absolutely ridiculous import laws. While in Japan my plan is mostly minor stuff, but once she gets back to the States with me (whenever that may be) I plan to put my RB25DET and trans in. Looking forward to learning a lot here and will be relying on you guys since the US never got the Cefy.

Nissan cefiro with a r34gtt front, rb20det, 5spd manual, r32gtr front seats, hks 25/30 turbo, hks diff locker, short shifter, fmic, just had injectors cleaned and new plugs and oil&filters, has other goodies not mentioned, RWC no REG..can be put on club reg, good condition does need a little work to make a 1 of a kind car... $4700ono...
  21. RB25DET into RB25DE Cefiro Hey guys, Ok I have an A31 Cefiro that originally came with an RB25DE and Automatic transmission. Transmission has been swapped to Manual and am about to do the RB25DET swap. I want to avoid as many problems as I can and want some information on the wiring. Its a series 1 RB25DET going into the car and I have bought a series 1 engine loom to go with it. I could not imagine there would be to many differences but what can I expect or avoid going wrong.   23. Jeremy's A31 Cefiro Hey everyone. I'm new to Nissan's with this A31 Cefiro, but luckily, I'm in the motherland . I just picked up this Cefy, and luckily she is old enough for me to take her with me when I have to leave in September. Nothing definitely solid as far as plans for her yet, but I do kinda have a general idea. For now I'm going to stick with the RB20DET she came with since that will make it easier for me to ship and import if I have to go back to the US. So for now I'm looking to do cams, injectors, and a bigger turbo, along with a standalone ECU. Haven't decided just yet on the interior, but I really like the look and feel of the Bride Euroster seats. The car is pretty much bone stock other than some basic audio upgrades. Anyway, here she is.
  24. 4 door (sedan) Window deflectors, Rain guards. Hey guys, Its really hard to find on the internet anything about specific wind deflectors/rain guards. I have a r32 sedan. I have been trying to locate some sedan wind deflectors for awhile. Not only can I not find them but I also cant really find any info on them. Does anyone know if there are other models that can cross over? Similar to the ones below. If anyone has any clues on where to find these for any sedans it would be nice to have a thread for all.
