My current project car is a '92 Supercharged MX5, I've been building it over the past 5 years but sadly its time to move on. Like most, my dream car is an R34, a GTR will always be out of my price range but I would certainly be happy with a GTT. I'd decided the MX5 would be stripped and sold in September when the insurance expires and then start the search for a clean R34. I wouldnt be a true car enthusiast if i wasn't already looking for cars on the interweb with this decision in mind. My fingers were starting to hurt after refreshing various selling and auction sites here and Japan too often. One car I kept being drawn back to was a white Series 2. It ticked all the boxes for what i was looking for, except it was the facelift front bumper that was preventing me from looking deeper into the details. So i messaged the seller and asked for a few more details and photos, very quick responses and the amount of photos asked on request was overwhelming. Was it worth the 7hr round trip to go look at it, to potentially not like it? If it was as clean as it was in the photos, something major must have had been up with it if i was to walk away. Luckily this wasn't the case, infact the car was even better in person. After a test drive and a good poke around i really couldnt fault the car except for a knock on the driver side rear. So with an offer made he accepted and I drove away extremely happy! The 170ish mile drive home was faultless and i look forward to digging in and putting my own stamp on it. Im looking at selling my 1996 Skyline GTS25T Series 2. Selling it because i need to start paying off some bills. Body and engine is great condition and with genuine low kilometers. Replaced the brake pads a few months ago and there was still the original nissan hitachi pads in the front and rear! Dash doesn't have a single crack or marks anywhere, which is very rare. Interior including front and rear seats are in next to perfect condition. Replaced: -Falken ZE912 225/40/18s x4 in December 2013 -Font & rear disc brake pads with Bendix pads -New Genuine Nissan coilpacks x6 -Platinum NGK Spark plugs -NGK O2 sensor -Bought a Stock Airbox instead of original pod filter -Oil changed at 135 thousand with Penrite HPR 5 oil, new filter and fuel filter. -Dump pipe re plumbed in March by Leonards Mufflers Coffs Harbour, i could notice a difference in power. Photo of pipe above -Brand new Century hi performance battery other week. -Also have sway bar links that are getting replaced next week. Help with Series 2 tail lights and trailer wiring Heya so I have a few questions, Went and got some Series 2 tail lights and installed the tail gate ones, although I did have to scrape off the black gooey silicone tar looking stuff and reuse it on the series 2 set, Where can I get some of that tar sticky stuff that's now stuck on my hands forever (New Zealand please) And, little did I know the side tail lights fit but need different indicator bulb plugs So where can I get the indicator plugs from? I'll head to supercheapauto and repco tomorrow to see if they have any but I don't feel too confident that they'll have anything. And because I need amber coloured indicator lights now, does anyone know the bulb number/part? And because the previous owner of my car had series 2 lights and took them off at sale he cut all of the trailer wiring, so I wanted to know when doing the trailer wiring do I just place the trailer wiring into the light bulb plug? where the normal indicator wires go etc? Now before you say use the search or what ever, I did, but nothing about rear tail light bulb plugs (Maybe i'm not using the correct names?) Thanks!

R33 GTR (Series 2) This 1996 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R was imported into Australia in 2006. I am the second owner of this car since being imported and have owned it for the past 2 years. My reason for selling is for the sole purpose of purchasing an R34 GTR before they become virtually impossible to afford. Odometer:123,736 km The car has been kept in stock condition with only a few modifications. Hi All I've done a lot of reading on here about what people are doing for turbo replacements and 99% of the time people have or are looking at upgrades - exhaust etc. and the discussion seems to revolve around that. I'm a little old-fashioned and my car is stock and prefer to keep it that way so am looking for a turbo to suit. I want a bolt up solution and I noticed a lot of you lads talk about the CGC high-flow. I just rang them and they said that if I were to do that, the car would require a tune and would not run right without. Is this accurate? Am I to understand that the stock ECU cannot be tuned so this is not a solution as I don't really want to stuff around too much. Has anybody here done this i.e bolted a CGC high-flow to an otherwise stock car? What were the results? Did it run OK as is? Any advice or help would be much appreciated. Thanks all
