Aircon Regassers In Melbourne That Use Hychill Hr12 Gas

I would put 80ml in there, half of it in the compressor and half in the discharge hose.

300 Sounds a bit excessive, I would think it would be more toward 220 grams, but unless you have a extremely accurate way of measuring it your not going to put the right amount in, charge by vent temp under load in small incremends, once the lowest vent temp is reached then you are there, a word of caution DIY can be dangerous to yourself or your a/c system if you don't use the correct charge methods

to add some info re. Hychill. I called up Ross from Hychill and he was very helpful in giving me the details for some workshops close to my work (I ended up using Masters Automobiles).

Aircon system in my car has been open since it landed in Aust (2004) and hasn't been functional since.

Short story. They re-gassed and replaced seals/valves for $205 and it's been working great (touch wood) for 3 weeks now.
