one side of my climate control globes have decided to blow :P

maybe i'll get someone else to fix it when i get my amp+sub installed!

It really is a ten minute job. Plus you can give your car a good clean in the centre console and in the nook and grannys around headunit and eveything else. First of all, the backlight was simply. I manged to get some T4 LEDS for the dash off ebay, and for the backlight they fit perfect. For the control lights however i need the same size LEDS...width wise...but they need to be shorter then 12mm high. If you could find some which were 6-8mm High, with a T4 Base. You will be on the money.

i used Jaycar part number SL2675 which is a 4mm 12v mini lamp

it was a very tight fit, and you have to strip off the plastic coating of the wire, but it did the job

i'd probably go for the SL2685 next time, which is the same as above but in 3mm

hope this helps

Don't suppose anyone has found any LEDs that fit and are easily bought?

It looks like the backlight and the button twist lock holders are the same size at the base, so would that mean its interchangeable?

Was thinking if thats correct that I could buy some T5 Twist lock LEDs that are short in height and then hope that they fit behind the buttons?
