Need Nissan Skyline R34 Gtt And R33 Gtr Weight Distribution

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

I'm searching an information about the Nissan Skyline R34 GTT & R33 GTR.

I would like to know the weight distribution of the car.

I heard that: FRONT:52%

REAR: 48%

Someone could confirm that please ?

Sorry for my bad english, I come from Belgium.

Thank you in advance

Kevin

Hi Kevin, I've never seen the figures for 33, but I can tell you my r32 gtr production race car is front 58% rear 42%. This is with 100kg driver.

the 34 gtt will be a little better without the 4wd, but I am sure it is only 1-2% better.

Skylines are a well engineered but therefore heavy car, with big gearbox and heavy cast iron block.

R32 right through to R34 (and no doubt those that came before as well) are pretty nose-heavy, with a big cast-iron boat anchor of an engine sitting in the front. That's why the V35 has an alloy block sitting further back (easier to do, since it's a V6 not inline); it has a 52-48 F to R weight distribution.

(Dunno which he is talking about; the R32 or the V35...)
