Replacement Spark Plugs For 2001 300Gt V35 (Vq30Dd Engine)

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

I'm planning to replace the spark plugs soon, but not sure about the part number. I have read a number of posts but most of them are about v35s with different engine types. Mine is VQ30DD direct injection and it seems like the direct injection engines use different sparkplugs.

Can anyone tell me the part number of the spark plugs that i need?

Your help is highly appreciated.

You won't be changing the mechanical fuel pump when you find out the price of it... Do they still run an electric one in the tank? I assume so, but I wouldn't want to bugger the mechanical one with too much flow or pressure...

Here is a previous thread on DD plugs.

I had a look at it, but it seems like there wasn't an agreement on what spark plugs for VQ30DD engines.

I think i will need to remove one of the spark plugs and see what's already in there.

If anyone with VQ30DD engine has done spark plug replacement, please come forward.

Cheers

The actual fuel pump is placed in a plastic container. So when you remove the whole assembly, you need to remove the plastic cover and replace the fuel pump. I will just change that one which is about $70.

I found those spark plugs at this website;

US$ 80 for 4 of them.

sound like a reasonable price.

What do you guys think?
