Running Lean Under Boost.

Need a little help, couldn't find any info about my particular issue.

While cruising along the highway this afternoon I noticed the car wouldn't accelerate with anything more than 1/2 throttle and felt like it was missing. The I noticed that my narrowband was reading extremely lean while under load but was reading normal closed loop ratios while cruising along. I'm thinking the fuel pump is on the way out but after advice on other potential issues and how to test them.

Replace filter.

Replace pump. They are so cheap for a walbro 255 it's not worth risking it.

Thanks, filter was done about a year ago with the coils. I've been planing on doing the pump so this sounds like a good reason to move it forward. Anything else that could cause it?

Vac line to fpr could have fallen off.

Fuel line could be crushed or kinked.

Checked vac line first, was fine. I think I'll do the pump and see if that works, then go from there.

Get a wideband.

No worries man.

Even if the pump doesn't fix it, it's certainly not a waste replacing it. They are old and dodgy by now, and can kill your engine!
