All Brake Lights Are On

This is on the Dayz. Even after pulling the fuses and disconnecting the switch at the brake pedal

Why would this happen? As far as I know the wiring has not been touched or tampered with since fitting the replacement motor I can't say for sure if the lights came on as soon as the battery went in.

How or where do I start looking to fix.

If you look down at your brake pedal kinda up where the mechanism is where the pedal joins onto the rest of the assembly there should be a little rubber grommet that creates separation between the two piece of metal (hard to explain) occasionally this deteriorates and drops out.

Hard to explain but maybe this picture will help sort of in this location.

I hve got to the point of pulling up the floors in the cargo area in the RS4 and the Dayz The wiring is different. In the Dayz there appears to be a bodgie wire that goes forward under the rear seat. Will have to find where it goes.

Is there any way of getting an English wiring diagram?????????????

I think the "bodgie" wiring is to do with the Mongoose and the tailgate auto closer.

I need a Stagea experienced Auto Electrician on the Gold Coast.

Any ideas????
