R34 Gtr Audio Question

Hey guys

I have recently purchased my r34 gtr vspec and it has the factory CD player& tape deck.

It recently has just been cutting in and out and when it cuts out I cannot select the CD player at all only the radio comes on then it randomly comes back on briefly the off again.

Any ideas what this could be?

unit has a power supply fault. not really repairable. best to pull the lot and replace the radio.
