V35 Skyline Aux 'factory' (?) Cable

Recommended Posts

H everyone, I'm new to this forum and have just bought my first Skyline/first Japanese car. Loving it so far and the difference between european cars of the same performance is startling. Certainly more bang for your buck with a Skyline!

I have a CPV35 Coupe and have delved into the whole conversion of the factory system etc. That's on hold for now... But I am after some info on the possibly factory (?) aux cable found in the centre console. Any insight on what this is for, where I can get an adapter from etc. etc. and whether it is indeed connected at the other end.

Once again any insight and info appreciated.

Oh.... ok! Thanks for that. Is this cable 'un-pluggable' and a more appropriate lead can be fitted to enable smartphones to be hooked up, or is the jack/software/connection not compatible?

Thanks!

There is an aux in the boot where the tv tuner is. You can plug your phone into there. You will need the special nissan lead. It has the yellow, red & white RCA plugs on one end.

Yeah thats a dedicated plug on one side which plugs into the factory TV Tuner and 3 RCA's on the other side.

Lets you use the VTR input on factory screen

I have this cable from my old V35 its about 6-8meters long, if anyone interested please PM me
