What Are My Options - My Front R33 Gtr Indicator Enclosure Fell Loose And Is Damaged?

Hey guys, so frustrating - I just got my front bar nicely painted and as drove out of the workshop one of my front indicator enclosures on my GTR Front bar fell loose and broke.

It's ridiculous how these things are so rare and they're worth nearly $600 to replace (including the clear globe housing). So does anyone here know where I can get a new pair more cheaper or even better know where I can buy just one?

I live in the western suburbs of Melbourne. Please help...I'm so frustrated.

Many thanks in advance.

Cheers

Hey guys, appreciate all your help.

It's those black indicator backing enclosures housing the indicators...one broke but all good - I managed to pick up a pair of Kudos Motorsports for around $80.00 shipped. Hopefully they will fit flush.

Whilst I'm at it - any tips on cleaning those lights? Mine is a bit like the one White GTR in the photo - it's not too bad but a bit Yellowy.

Many thanks.

Drive back into the shop and have them replace it as they did not assemble it correctly?

The guys at the workshop that did the work are great and are happy to wear the cost of getting a replacement so all good.

That's not a GTR

Get some Glassylite or a plastic polish...or toothpaste and paper towels will fix it.

Yeah a closer look does show that White one is not a GTR.

Anyway, so Toothpaste with paper towels. Any particular technique to cleaning or do I just put it on and then wipe it off?

Like cleaning your teeth - pretend the lights are teeth

Wet the lights with some water first, put fair amounts of toothpaste on paper towel and polish away with it. Rinse with water after / wipe with damp sponge. Takes a fair bit of elbow grease the polishing, depending on how oxidised they are, but you'll see the difference straight away.

This is a temp solution...will stay clear for a month or so at most before it comes back. Using protective UV sealants after polishing can get you more time between polishes.
