R33 boot strut brace in r34

Does a r33 boot strut brace fit in a r34 (2D)

If so does anyone have an photos of how it's installed ? Thanks

It's my understanding that R33s and R34s are identical in that area.

It is also my understanding that rear "strut" braces do very little on a Skyline.  Think about the rather large parcel shelf and rear seat bulkhead providing the cross car stiffness in that part of the car, and then wonder to yourself how much extra stiffness you get from an un-triangulated 20mm bar with freely rotating pins at each end.

fits but you won't be able to close the boot lid due to the difference in the boot hinge design

Compared to r33, R34 has thicker panels in the boot area above the fuel tank, along with braces in the spare wheel well, plus reinforced c pillars so I don't think the boot brace will do anything really.

Ok thank I got it for free so I'm just trying to figure out how to fit it in
