What does this connect to? (RB20DET)

This was just hanging off the car when I got it, it has two lines inside it but I dont know where to connect them to, does anyone know?

The standard crossover pipe. You can't miss it if you look hard enough.

Hmm ok so looking at this pic :  

it connects to those two metal pipes but i dont seem to have them, is it ok to run the car without?

That comes from your charcoal cannister wich connects to your stock airflow system not a biggie nothing to worry about
