turboing rb25de

hey there

i know i can turbo a de etc and run 10psi that's not the prob

 

my questioning is if i went to the mech and put the turbo bigger injector fuel pump and so on so that it was a working turbo car would it run? so i could drive it home?

 

and a 2nd it's a gts4 could i use a rb25det ecu to run it etc. or cause it's AWD would't it work

There's a gazillion questions about this -> recommend a search. Short answer, nope it's won't run without the right ECU and tune.

Secondly, and I know this is not necessarily sound helpful, but please don't do it. Once you've installed an intercooler, turbo intake, turbo injectors, turbo exhaust, turbo fuel pump, turbo ECU, turbo brakes, turbo swaybars, turbo everything you might just as well have sold your non-turbo and bought a real turbo. It's just not worth it.

Just sell it and buy a turbo.  Likely cheaper and a much better outcome.

Or sell it then buy it back then turbo it. As long as using an adjustable fpr it should be ok.

Remove engine and install LS1.
