Connecting In Car Computer To Stock Ecu

hey guys was just wondering if any one knew if r32 skylines had any for of OBD and if it could be relaid to a pc. also if any one knows what ports the ecu has on it, like some aftermarket ecu's have ltp1 ports for connecting to pc's.

Yep absolutely. Check in the group buys section what you need is a "Consult Cable". From there there are a bunch of options of software to run, the best is datascan which is about $25 from memory.

Lets you monitor a heap of outputs from the ECU including duty cycle, afm voltage, o2 sensors, TPS etc etc, clear error codes, turn off individual coils for trouble shooting.

The other option also in the GB section is the displays that Impakt sells these give you a box which can display these and store peak values, and only needs a serial cable to connect to your PC.

Oh and you need the standard ECU none of the aftermarket ones support the consult port.
