  1. Hi, Can anyone recommend a nissan dealer who doesn;t mind dealing with imports? I am trying to source some parts for my HICAS but would like to investigate getting new parts but not sure which dealers are good. Would a power steering place also be a good place to try for HICAS related parts? Thanks... Will...
  2. Just an add on Q... Does anyone know what the switch located on the tranmission is for? It's about half way along and half way down the transmission on the right hand side. apparently this is leaking and needs replacing. Thanks!
  3. Hi guys, I'm currently getting a road worthy for my car and I need to find a few parts. Was wondering if anyone knew where I could find the following or if they have any part numbers? Front suspension caster rod front bushes oil pressure switch (RB20DET) same as skyline I'm assuming and am just about to do a search... rear suspension rack ends. Basically the part that connects to the hicas cylinder thingy that then is covered by the rubber boot that is then attached to the tie rod... Hope that makes sense... Also would Windscreens o'brien or similar do a windscreen for the ceffy? cheers guys! Will...
  4. I have a Nissan A31 Cefiro for sale. The details for the A31 are: 1990 model RB20DET engine (with balance of 90 day warranty) 5 speed manual remote central locking with immobilizer tinted windows (tinted by Premier tint) K&N pod filter 3" exhaust from the cat back cannon style polished muffler blitz boost gauge blitz turbo timer Tein coilovers all round with camber adjustment on the front 16" AVS mags DR. Drift chipped ECU AC with climate control 180SX front seats The RB20DET engine was installed by Dr. Drift and is from an R32 Skyline. It is runnign stock boost atm (7 psi). The AC was overhauled approx 12 months ago. Compressor was rebuilt and system regassed. The ODO has 167,000KM (approx at time fo post) but not sure how many KM on the current engine. Was told the engine is solid and it has warranty. I believe the clutch, diff and gearbox are standard items. I also have standard passenger side seat. The car currently has a stereo setup consisting of 2 x 12" MTX thunder 5000 subs, VNET 4 channel AMP, clarion 6.5" splits in front doors. All speakers running from the amp. Pioneer head unit. Can supply car with or without stereo for the right price. I'm looking for around $10,500 without the stereo. But can do the car with stereo. I also have some Autotechnica Monza seats that never made it into the car. Can include either or both items for the right price. PM or call Will on 0416 025 494 with any questions. Thanks.
  5. First thing I'd do is check your power steering fluid levels. The light will come on if the levels are low.
  6. I had a power window mechanism break on my cefiro. I got a replacement assembly through just jap. They were fast and reasonably priced and knew what they were talking about. If your not having much luck privately or locally then I'd suggest giving them a call. There is/was a cefiro being wrecked on nissansilvia.com http://www.nissansilvia.com/forums/index.p...topic=57501&hl= you may like to give them a try for the part.
  7. Check with your local roads and traffic authority (RTA or VICroads equivalent in QLD) as to what needs to be done. It's not compliance work but may require engineering. IF your fitting the turbo engine which came standard in other models then you may have to also fit all the associated parts like brakes etc to get it legally engineered/registered.
  8. Also forgot to say that any helmet sold at the shop will meet australia standards for safety. A more expensive helmet will be more comfortable and probably exceeds the standards.
  9. If your in Sydney then go to the Helmet warehouse. Huge range, great prices, excellent service. I've bought two helmets from there. Got an end of line Shoei graphic helmet for cheap a few years ago... Whitepages details: 403 Hume Hwy Yagoona 2199 (02) 9790 2744 Depending on your head size and shape as to what will fit. My head doesn't fit in an AGV helmet any size. They are too short and my chin sticks out. Shoei, Arai and HJC make helmets that suited my head. AGV and shark make helmets for smaller heads. Best to go the shop and try on a range before you choose which to buy. You can net decent helmets cheap but these won't have good ventilation and will be made from materials that are heavier. The more expensive the helmet generally the better air flow and quality of materials (read lighter weight). You also get graphics as you go up in price. Coming from riding a motorbike you appreciate a light coloured helmet with good ventilation on hot days.
  10. hmmm it costs more than a new car and takes longer then getting import approval?
  11. I would assume that diff ratio would affect torque because it is gearing too. Now I know why your tyres are always bald Ni, it's not that they rub on the guards.... I liked your 18's they looked good. Too bad one is bent.
  12. My car's a 1990 model but with the other tailights. I must have just missed out. What's a set of those lights worth from Japan?
