  2. my vote is clint from TKO, i have 4 door 32, and it cost me just under $300, thats limo on the back, 20 % on the sides (4 doors) and a strip of limo on the front, he did an awesome job
  3. i had the same problem with my 32, its the vent controller, my other half fixed it, went thru from under the steering wheel on the left, fiddled with it and no noise since

  5. it was part of the cruise
  6. no offence to anyone but you seem to forget something, if you dont speed you dont get caught, that said i admit to losing my license 2 times thru loss of demerit points, and now am a lot more careful when commuting. just be happy that our fines are a lot less than in other states. In vic they hide cameras in the back of cars and park them in the emergency lanes on the highways and freeways (so ive heard). dont speed and you wont get caught!, or if you do speed, do it after 11pm and before 6am when they take the multis off the sides of the roads
  7. insurance is a good deal, alans number is 93770771
  8. ill lend mine out, you'd have to take them off my car'tho, tyres are 1 mth old, steve, you might have to put brand new tyres on like i did if your after an engineers report, cos they write the serial number etc on the report from the sticker off the tyre
  9. alan boon did mine, he seemed alright, he usually has a lot of cars that he works on at once, cost all up about 1k or a little over, that was with 4 side intrusions, child anchor points and side mirrors, and fuel restrictor thingo, and to have the engineer come out and certify it was about $130 from memory, but having that certificate made the pits cheaper, went from $152 to $52, and they are less strict on looking at it due to the engineers report. his workshop is just off guilford road in bassendean/bayswater
  10. i have a 4 door dark blue gtst r32, id be more than happy also, and i live near swan valley, one prob tho, if you have big dresses, theres about as much leg room in the back of a 4 door as there is in a 2 door, which is ****all, it might be a bit of an issue!
  11. i recently got an import and had no trouble getting it on the road, picked it up from the shipping yards on the tuesday, it was at allan boons workshop by the thursday, cost about 1k for the intrusions, seatbelts and mirrors, this was done by the following wednesday, then had to get tint taken off and immobiliser put in, it was regod by the friday, so in all less than 2 weeks it was on the road. at the transport department they werent very thorough, maybe due to having a engineers certificate, but all they checked was lights and the height off the ground, and i was told that i had to pay $152 at the pits, but getting it done at boons, an engineer went over it and certified it so it only cost $52 at the pits. car is immaculate and runs like a dream, its a pretty easy process, just have to be a bit patient, the car i got was at the docks for a little over 6 months before it finally got on the ship, the guy that initially bought it was tired of waiting so i took it over when it finally landed. just be careful of quarantine tho, they supposedly went over my car but when i had a decent look at the exterior and under it there was lots of grass and 2 spider eggs, so just make sure you burn anything live so it doesnt get into the environment, the ashtray was also full of some guys cigarette butts!..... also had no problem getting insurance, went with 'just car insurance' only problem with them i found is you can only pay yearly, they dont allow monthly or quartaly payments, but to give and of you an idea, the car is insured for 12k and its 920 a year which isnt too bad i thought
  12. try quokka also, theres usually quite a few advertised in there!
