  1. Cheers for that, i had a feeling that the ECU could be the problem. Going to go with a Power FC, should cure all my worries. Thanx for the help!
  2. Hey Guys, Im having trouble with my R34, ive done most of the basic mods, cat back exhaust, intercooler, air pod, boost controller, HKS spark plugs etc. The car runs beautifully when its running standard boost and up to around .65 bar. But when i increase the boost to .75 bar or any higher, i get an anoying flat spot from around 4500rpm to 6000rpm then it seems to clear and go hard again? Ive tried resetting the computer but the problem still happens. Just wondering if anyone can help me out with any suggestions, any help would be great. Cheers..........
  3. Yeah, it sounds normal to me, i usually get the same 300kms to 400kms till the petrol light comes on, havent put it to the test how far it will go with the light on. Mine only fills to around 40-45L also. sounds normal to me.
  4. Im not 100% sure but i think the GTR wheels are Titanium colour??? Correct me if im wrong?? Mean Colour, looks great on any Skyline!!!
  5. Model: R34 Gt-t Age: 25 Race: Aussie Occupation: Hotel Manager
  6. Just been for a couple of long drives and the pressure gauge has been working normally. So, im guessing that it has to be a faulty gauge, because it only drops down low every now and then. Ive read on other forums that a lot of skyline owners have a similar problem, ane they just say to ignore it. As long as your oil levels are good, you shouldnt have a problem. Correct me if im wrong?? Cheers.........
  7. cheers, mine has been normal for the last few days, only sometimes it will drop to under 1, so im guessing it may be a faulty gauge? hope so!!
  8. I just had to do the same thing, i got my car from brisbane and i live in adelaide. when u get the car back to your home state, its just a matter of taking your car to motor registration, then u will have to get the car inspected. Once your car is inspected and all is road worthy, u will be able to buy plates on the spot for around $26.00 each. (may differ in different states). You will still have to pay rego, and stamp duty, which is never cheap!! Goodluck......
  9. Just wondering if anyone knows where to get a hold of R34 GTR rims? I also heard that there are replicas, for about half the price of the originals? Is this true? How much would i be looking to pay for a set without tyres? Cheers..........
  10. Hi all, Just wondering what the normal oil pressure is on a R34 Neo 6? Some days mine is normal, then other days it drops to just under 1, and tends to jump around a bit. Is this just a faulty gauge, like the R32 & R33s are common to have? Ive heard that skyline oil pressure gauges can be faulty? If the pressure was to drop, wouldnt the oil pressure warning light come on ? Many Thanks.........

  12. Hi All, Wanting to lower my R34, by 30-40mm, Which springs are best? ive looked at King springs, whiteline racing, K-mac etc. Any other R34 owners that have lowered their car, let me know how you went about it?? Any tips will come in usefull. :headspin: Many Thanks...... Keep Boosting!!!!!!!!
  13. Hi to all, its time to up the boost, i was just wondering what other R34 GTT owners were using? Which is the best value for money on the market? A boost controller which does a good job, without all the flashing lights and gizmos. Cheers...Happy Boosting!!!!
  14. Nothing wrong with R33 GTR, but go the R34 GTT! The R34 has a great appeal on the road, and is a good package for the $$$$ I just got mine a few weeks ago, and am thrilled by its potential. Try Just car insurance, im paying around $1000 per year for insurance, this will depend on your age and driving history. good luck ////
