  1. Can also check that, but 99.9% sure it's approx. under the dash area. will get someone to come and have a drive to pinpoint better. Thanks
  2. I could've sworn it's under the dash, but after posting this I finally found some mentions of squeaky noise relating to bushes, so I will definitely investigate that further. Cheers
  3. R32 GTR Squeaking noise under dash Hi, I've had my R32 GTR for a while now and suddenly it's started to make a squeaking noise form the dash area, or underneath, when driving. I've taken the dash off and checked everything (and removed the famous bubble) and put the car back together, but the noise is still there (bummer). I guess the only was now to find it would be to drive the car without the dash and get someone to listen. The sound is as if you cut styrofoam with a blunt knife. As there isn't really too much under the dash my thoughts are that it is likely to be the heater unit... Has anyone experienced this? Also, if I take the dash off and drive the car, would there be a technical issue (I know it won't be legal) to drive it without the instrument cluster? Any help would be appreciated!!! Cheers, Chris
  4. Hi Guys, Does anyone know a good workshop in Auckland or surrounds to fix an R32 GTR with motor problems? I heard there is at least one place that is good, does anyone know? Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Chris
  5. Hi, I have a problem with my +12 V battery supply that goes to my aircon and stereo on my R32. The stereo stopped working and going through the cables I found that I didn't get power from the battery, ie. not the ignition one, but pin E on the diagram below. Strangely, when I switched the iginition on I got some power but not 12V from that cable. As I couldn't find any other way to fix it, I wired up another permanent 12V connection and the stereo was sorted. www.installdr.com/harnesses/nissan-wiring.pdf But after I put everything back together and drove the car, I realised my aircon now has a memory problem, which means it goes back to default every time I restart the car. I assume the aircon was supplied by the same wire that feeds the stereo and keeps the memory alive. Now my question: Is this something obvious that is broken which someone has come across before, or does anyone know which pin on the aircon supplies power from the battery so I can also rewire that? I've been looking but haven't come across a pin out diagram for the aicron. Any help is much appreciated, Cheers, Chris
  6. Hi, I'm new here and hope I can get some help. I have a GTR R32 more or less in stock condition with HKS coilovers that I need to replace, as one is leaking and it seems to be impossible to get them repaired.. I have tried to find some reviews of coilovers and so far I get the feeling that HSD and BC Gold generally get a lot of good feedback. I can also get OZ Racing coilovers here in NZ - http://www.bcracing.co.nz/%C2'> - which are fully supported in terms of parts and are supposedly the same as D2? I use the car just for driving on the road and plan to go on the track the odd time maybe. I wonder if there are any of you out there who have used OZ Racing coilovers and can give some feedback or comments? I haven't found anything on the forum about that brand. Cheers, C
