  1. That's the reason my air-con wasn't working, that plug which is circled in red was disconnected such a pain in the arse to get to but i got there in the end from what I know, that plug was the intake temp sensor.
  2. Ok so I did a diagnostic test on the climate control unit. The error relates to the "intake temperature sensor", any ideas? FYI, I pulled out the heater core etc (behind glovebox compartment) because one of the pipes the coolant runs through had a crack in it and was leaking coolant.
  3. Will give it a go and let you know how I go, thanks for your help!
  4. Not for the rb25de, I don't think so anyway. I checked the website and there's nothing for it
  5. I'll use a multimeter tomorrow and try and see if it's any of the wires in the loom which I cut (trial and error, hopefully I don't blow anything up). If you find anything please let me know! I'd rather not do what I'm thinking of doing lol. Thanks for your help
  6. We just filled it with gas and it's still doing the same thing. We only temporarily bridged it to fill the gas just in case the pressure was too low for the pressure switch to work. We also needed to bridge the blower for the condenser as it wasn't working either. Basically, my whole air-conditioning system is down. When pressing the "AC" button on my Climate control unit, nothing happens. When we did bridge it, the aircon was freezing cold. Works perfectly when bridged haha When converting the car to manual, the auto-loom was hanging down and instead of cable tying the plugs which weren't being used (all of them were useless), we cut the loom and bridged the inhibitor so my car would start, all other cables are taped up and not connected. Hope that helps!
  7. Hi all, Firstly, I've done a fair bit of research on trying to find the issue before posting this, but haven't managed to find any useful information. I recently converted my car to manual which involved pulling the engine out along with the gearbox. We pulled all electronics out and I have a feeling I've forgotten to connect something, but I have no idea what.. The AC works when I bridge the relay with a wire, I bought a new relay because I thought that was the issue but turns out it wasn't. The connectors at the back of the climate control unit are all connected. Any ideas? I feel like it's something simple Thanks in advance
  8. Any suggestions? If I can't find anything I'll probably end up with a Haltech Cheers!
  9. Originally auto, but converted to manual
  10. Hey guys, Thanks for your input. I figured out the reason it wasn't working correctly and it was because the fuse was tripping. I had it wired to the cigarette lighter. I wired it directly to the battery with a fuse in between and seems to be working fine. Not sure why it felt like it was starving tbh Had the car on the dyno today and 75hp jets gained me 35hp atw. Will be putting 125hp jets in at the drags next time I'm there and see how it does. Fuel pressure was fine, but it sure didn't feel like it when i tested it, still surprised of what the cause of it was. An aftermarket ECU for it will make a big difference according to the bloke who dyno'd the car. Now... to look for an aftermarket ECU for an r34 rb25de neo. Anyone know of any available? Any help will be appreciated! Thanks
  11. Hi Guys. So I'm in the process of testing a Sniper NOS kit in my NA 25GT R34. Everything is installed and working, including both the nitrous arming switch and micro switch which is enabled on when foot is to the floor on the accelerator. I've tested it by pulling off the intake and putting my foot down while the NOS is armed and it sprays fine. I went for a test drive last night after completing the setup but when I had my foot down, i didn't feel a noticeable difference (75HP Jets). It felt like the car was starving. Has anyone dealt with nitrous systems before running a stock fuel pump and encountered this issue? I started off testing with the 35HP jets and had a similar issue, so I'm just trying find where the problem is. P.S. anyone have a rough idea how much nitrous a stock RB25DE would be able to handle? I've got aftermarket extractors and a 2.5" cat back exhaust Thanks!
  12. Didn't end up changing the loom, just sorted out the inhibitor wiring to at least get the car started. Took it for a drive and the speedo seems to be providing an accurate reading. I'll need to sort out the reverse lights asap but other than that, car runs good! Very happy about the speedo, must've fluked it somehow. Usually people converting get either half or double readings, mine seems to be accurate. I'll test it out properly during the weekend.
  13. Hi Guys, So I'm currently converting my R34 Nissan Skyline 25GT to manual. My issue as of now is, I've got an R32 RB25DE (according to tag on gearbox at time of purchase) gearbox and I was just wondering what needs to be done with wiring on the gearbox for the reverse lights to work correctly. Is there any other wiring related issues I need to sort out besides reverse lights? I attached one of the pics I found on my pc, hopefully it helps. Thanks!
