Hey All, Sorry for the late replies. Ducan, thanks again for the list and it seems like it was the top mount and prob the outer ball joint as well. Its all sweet now. Now im not paranoid of losing control at higher speeds, now for some normal driving speeds.

jjman, no clutch hasnt been changed. Someone said to me that it happened to him. It was his release bearing in the gearbox. Told me to might as well rebuilt it to make it last at least.

jjman. It does it in first gear only when I get off the clutch. I dont lose any RPM or anything.

Hello, My car started to make knocking noises everytime I drive on a really bumpy road (hume highway for sydney people) and its really irritating. I dont feel any handling issues and my strut looks fine not bent. What is that annoying noise coming from?!@#

Hi, Hope someone can tell me the easy fix for this problem or solution. My gearbox makes whiny scraping noises when I put the car into gear and get off the clutch. Doesnt feel like anything is wrong but im not sure what damage it can cause on the inside. Thanks for any replies.
