  1. What Have I Done To My Stagea Lately? Sold it Now i'm sad.. If anyone wants a woodgrain head unit fascia (single zone aircon, 6 stack CD) in good knick then let me know - free to good home (Brisbane collection)
  2. Regretfully selling my 2005 PM35 (series 2) as I need more seats to accommodate the family.. imported in 2014 via Iron Chef with export papers at 88k and now 125k. Mostly factory, only change made was sourcing of 2 din stereo surround with an Android headunit hooked up and reverse camera installed - the original 6 stack / minidicsc and surround is provided. Tyres are fresh, serviced regularly, overall in good condition following recent detail and restoration of front seats (leather was getting a bit ordinary.) Located in Brisbane, priced at 14k.
  3. Sorry, I did not get that close just lifted carpet near sill on drivers side, saw bundle of wires and scratched off some plastic on the first orange wire that was not paired - multimeter read 12v only when in reverse. I just patched in wire at that point and feed back up behind the dash. If I get a some spare time I will try to trace it back and snap a pic. In any case should not take long to test a few cables should you not get lucky like me and easy to reinsulate the wrong ones.
  4. Thread resurrection... Big thanks to walkoau for the wire identification, I got the Renault camera and wireless sender mentioned in this thread hooked up and working with aftermarket head unit. Camera - > av sender - > 12v from reverse light Headunit reverse input -> orange wire in loom Headunit - > av reciever -> switched 12v
  5. EPC Data does not show spec codes for my VIN, probably cause it's an Axis? Anyway here what I could dig out of FAST without being able to read Japanese PM35 Axis - VQ35DE AUTC - Axis KYLS4 - Keyless entry / immobilizer DIFF6 - LSD QX1 - Pearl White G - Woodgrain interior & Orange/Tan Leather
  6. So for future users, this is what worked. 1) Take AC unit buttons off original fascia, remove DUAL button, desolder SMD led and switch from PCB 2) Take AC unit buttons off new fascia, replace blank button with DUAL button, solder SMD led and switch to PCB 3) Use dremel to enlarge opening to fit standard Double DIN 4) Mount head unit to new fascia 5) Plug Nissan dual antenna to single antenna adapter between antenna lead and head unit 6) Remove Black wire (Ground) from headunit to ISO adapter, extend wire and attach to chassis (bare metal location) 7) plug headunit -> ISO adapater into ISO-> Nissan adapter 8) Refit dash Enjoy.
  7. OK - so I think the AC button part# I need may be # 27500-AC505, can anyone tell me the difference? As an alternative could I buy a readily available silver 2din unit and transplant the buttons? Thanks guys.
  8. Hi Guys, Managed to find a 2DIN panel in wood that I have been looking at for a while - can anyone confirm the below? 1) If I plug this in then I will lose the dual zone aircon option? 2) One can swap the button set to get back the dual zone option - my basic digging in FAST shows up part number# 27500-AC500, probably wrong.. 3) Other bits needed will be Nissan antenna adapter, Nissan to iso adapter, iso to headunit adapter - from what I can see these are fairly generic and shared with other Nissan's of the same vintage?
  9. Too good thanks guys - EPCData worked a treat!
  10. Thanks guys - appreciate the guidance! Just so I am clear on this - are you saying that the 2003 350z engine is the best match as the local 2006 350z engine changes mean it differs from the 2006 Stagea set up? Thanks again.
  11. Hi All, Just picked up a 2006 Axis 3.5l and noticed oil in the spark plug area, been informed that the required gaskets / seals will take 3 weeks from Japan. Anyone here know if local 350z/Maxima parts are in most cases compatible? Cheers.
