  1. apologies for very late reply ! but i have since gone for a higher spec ecu (ms3 pro ultimate) full engine build... box build as well still on with this rpm issue is it simple pulse or progressive voltage or proprietary signal ?
  2. the system is also faulting before ecu removal mate can you post a link ?
  3. right guys I'm back ! car will be coming back from tuner quite soon so i want to prep ideas to fix this abs issue summary time... s1 stagea now with an aftermarket ecu for the engine side of things from what i understand all i need from the engine side to the attessa/abs aspect of things is a tsp signal wire ? as said before even when stock the abs module in the back would not flash regardless of what i had tried attessa side i have for now replaced with custom hydraulic system to mechanically lock the system for the dyno i have scoured the internet for ages on this topic but no real conclusion for the s1 stag any new data arisen since i last posted ? would a faulty speed sensor throw any codes/flash ?
  4. Started work on instilling aftermarket engine management on my stagea ran into a few hurdles one being relays and there location i understand the fuel pump has a progressive voltage feed ? and i know the relay in the kick panel next to the ecu is ecu switched but where is the coil and high current relay ? also the stock rpm gauge is it simple pulse or digital signal or voltage i have looked and looked but all i can find is circuits to convert was to aftermarket tach if i can get this working on the stock ecu wiring end it could lead to an aftermarket plug and play for the s1 stagea almast had it running today on the aftermarket then the relay issue arose so unsoldered everything and reconnected stock ecu fired straight up
  5. still working on this issue guys loads of info for the s2 but not so much for the s1 is there a way to get the led to flash ?
  6. thanks mate we tried that and it just went through also ran it through generic search annoying thing is it had option for stagea like said top of the range.. do we know what consult protocol the s1 uses and are the engine and abs module linked ? thanks
  7. Right chaps diagnostics cable found now to somehow extract fault codes tried my pals tester top of the range but only lists r34 and s2 stagea. will the bridging work on AN S1 and will it get codes from atessa/abs ?
  8. i have looked right under the dash i can see the grey plastic bracket from its plug where it looked to have snapped off of its mount i may remover the lower dash section soon
  9. looked into this beforehand pal unless yours is an s2 ? won't work i don't think the main problem for me is the fact i can't fine my diagnostics plug almost like it has been cut of
  10. same boat as you pal no flashing just 4wd and abs light ?
  11. Right not to leave a thread without a conclusion 6 is back and strong just abs fault to go cause was a tiny carbon trace burnt into the ceramic therefore failing to spark properly on 6. thanks for those who threw ideas out
  12. right 6 i seemingly back reading further into the mines ecu it seams that it is tuned for jdm grade fuel around 100 ron ? so i found a fuel supplier claiming 99.9 ron cleaned number 6 plug and started it sprayed with water again and 6 is evaporating same rate although after coming back from the trip i have found that 6 is seemingly not evaporating as quick also re installed recirculation valve witch has cured stalling at the lights but when i had returned home i found the return line had blown off so hopefully that had caused the rich mixture to flood the plug
  13. having changed and timed the engine serviced all of the belts ect 6 is still dead sprayed water on manifold from spay bottle and 6 runner hardly evaporated so timing is out of the question starting to think its somewhere in that loom still getting spark ect fuel volume is identical to other 5. so frustrating..... is this the most problematic stagea ever ?? determined to get it sorted ! may go full aftermarket ecu and new engine loom.. may look into spark plugs next go more basic...
  14. right i will stick with it then on other updates found a boost leak on all injectors upon removal of the rail i had noticed that the vac line for the fpr smelt like fuel could this be my problem all along poor or intermittent fuel flow/pressure waiting for serpentine belts then i will re assemble along with the disco fan
