  1. Turbosmart or gfb respons... I can easily get no chatter or jerking but it means the valve doesn't seal the moment there is positive pressure. Borderline still leaking thru the recirc... If I wanted to be a dick, i'd just open the port to vent 100%recirc and 5% atmosphere and it'll stop altogether without having to adjust it to that 'leak' point.
  2. Hmm.. piggy back adjustment to change the tps input signal < output ?
  3. Watched the mighty car mods episode 12 of the double unicorn build. It touched base about the throttle restriction due to the atessa system in the wc's. I wonder if it's the same for us as we use that system? It was along the lines of g sensor and voltage sending info to the atessa which would tell the ecu how much power to send to the tranny etc..
  4. Gasketgooed it upon installation to tack it in place and ensured flat seal all round. Il find out when I pull it out again. Will upgrade other stuff while I'm at it. Really wanna finish my harness /loom for the EMU...
  5. Nooo.... I already replaced it once.. ughhhhhh the first time it was leaking in a different place haha.
  6. I took the undertray off and the oil return (under turbo) isn't leaking. It looks like it's possibly near the top (just above turbo?) as there was a bit of fresh oil there..
  7. Religious oil and filter change.. found an oil leak somewhere in the turbo vicinity below rocker cover but above boots.. *sigh*
  8. What's your jumper settings if you don't mind me asking? Also out of curiosity did you guys use a harness or just splice tap straight to the unit. I have a uni-harness cable that's like 2 metres that I'm cutting down..
  9. Does CEL pop up with an emanage hooked up..? Is the daughter board separate normally? Also- what did you use your analogue output for? If we tapped that into the throttle position, would it be possible to open loop that so the brake cut mod wouldn't be required? Just throwing ideas.
  10. Emanage ultimate finally in my hands. Soon to be installed. To modify my previous post, anyone know the part numbers to the loom plugs to the ecu to make a harness? Thanks in advance
  11. Looking at the Emanage ultimate. It's set up for a 3sge at the moment. Am I able to plug to the laptop and upload a stagea map/ setup quite easily?
  12. They sell spring platforms or spacers to raise the springs for bCs don't they? I think it's just having everyone's best interests at heart. Can always resell..
  13. Yup that one works out much better. Maintaining the oem points but allowing adjustability. To compare which works better (coil over vs oem) the next is to find what the oem spring sits below.. chassis support rail etc
  14. Just looked at the difference. The spring sits on the platform that attaches to the rear end of the brake hub. The modified version uses an adjustable brace? Wouldn't that need to be certified as you're changing the design engineering of the suspension? I.e there's no downward support for where it used to sit? Just curious- Please entertain the thought process in this
