  1. GTS-4 doesn't have an indicator like the GTR sadly. I have check fluid levels and they are fine. I'll try bleeding the system. Attesa to TPS has been done. I'll try and find the ecu and see if there is a blinking light on it.
  2. R33 Attesa Troubleshooting When putting my R33 gts4 on the dyno I've discovered that the 4WD is not working. It might have actually been broken for awhile, it would explain my poor 60ft times when I was drag racing last year (a month before I had the engine rebuilt). However in general driving I've only ever seen 4WD become active twice in the 7 years I've owned the car - I don't drive it hard on the street. That said the 4WD light wasn't on and I know it worked because when I had an ABS sensor go it did light up. I've now switched out my gtr ecu for a Link G4+ and a dash2pro so I don't know how to fault find on the attesa system anymore - does anyone have any ideas?
  3. I sent my 2530s away to be rebuilt and I've discovered the exhaust housings are cracked on both of them, to the point where they can't be repaired. Are there any other housings I can use on them? I suggested 2860-5 housings but apparently they're not quite right for the centers? Will I just have to hunt down blown 2530s with intact housings? I've had a search and it sounds like the exhaust housing is unique like the CHRA which would be a complete pain in the ass.
  4. For clarity, I mean that^ That one is out of a Navara, which sounds like it might work with the Stagea cluster in an R32 GTR box?
  5. I've got the Stagea down to a garage to get the manual conversion done. I managed to get hold of a GTR gearbox out of a R32, it was a bargain but it is missing its speed sensor. Finding a replacement is proving harder than I thought, so what are my options? I might be able to get an R32 GTR speed sensor, but they had doubts it would function with the Stagea's (S1 RS4) cluster. I've done a bit of a search and it seems like the R32 mechanical sensor would work but that might have been wired up to a R32 dash? Is the Z32 or Navarra speed sensor an option?
  6. Thanks for the welcome guys!
  7. Hi everybody! Thought I'd say hello, I've been reading bits and bobs on the SAU for awhile, mostly for my Skyline but now that I'm working on my Stagea I actually have to start asking questions. I currently have 3 Nissans, all great pieces of 90s nostalgia. I've had my R33 GTS-4 for 5, nearly 6 years now, got it almost completely standard, cost me next to nothing and I've changed pretty much everything in it by now... I started by saving weight, putting on carbon fibre bits whenever I could and then I went and had an RB26 dropped in over a year ago. I drive it often - not quite daily but as often as I can, when it's not sitting in a garage. I've taken it down the strip a few times and at some point I'll get it on the track too but it will need a quieter exhaust for that. I'm about to get the engine forged, new ecu, bigger turbos, etc. After that I'll leave it alone for a bit and focus on the Stagea. The Stagea I bought last year, an S1 RS4 with Dayz kit, leather interior and a dying autobox, so I got it cheap with the intention of doing a manual conversion. It needs a bit of love, rust on the doors and a little on the boot but it has potential and the wife loves it. I managed to get an R32 GTR gearbox here in the UK, I took a risk and bought it blind, in unknown condition and minus the speed sensor. I've had the box checked out and it looks fine but sourcing a replacement speed sensor is proving to be a proper PITA. I'm not sure what the Stagea cluster and the GTR box will work with? Longer term, this will be the daily car for me or the wife so I might take the RB26 out of the Skyline and put it into the Stagea, I reckon 600hp or thereabouts is all it will ever need, it's that or build up the RB25 - I'm in two minds about it. Then I can get another RB26 head and an RB30 block (maybe stroked) and build up the Skyline again. Other than that an R34 front end conversion and respray would be nice but it's not top priority. Finally I have a UK spec S14a Touring. This is the current daily driver, again totally standard when I got it, it even has the original wheels on it. The only things I have changed on it are the fuel pump (old one died so put in a Walbro) and the exhaust (wasn't willing to pay Nissan prices for an original so got a Mongoose). I'm trying to keep it as standard as possible as it's worth more like that and once the Stagea is up and running we won't need 3 cars so the SX can be sold on. It's a fun car, not the most practical but it could be turned into something a lot more fun and I've got 2 to work on already.
