ive just lost my liscence for the third time, im on a good behavour liscence, which is 2 points for one year instead of doing the time, when i do get my liscence back i have to do 3months automatic suspension for 45and over, and then they take a further 9 points of my new licence when i get it back, if i dont do anything wrong, by mid 2006 i should have a full 12points, what can u do but slow down, im lucky because they wanted to take me to court and reveiw my licence and take it away from me for three years due to having 3 or more major fines in a space of three years, over 45, burnout, etc, ive got three burnout, two over 45

how much did u spend on the car when u bought it, i bet you thought u had a bargain, when i bought mine 3 years ago i paid a little more, its down 120,000 kms and still going, no major problems, my mate bought one a year after me 4 very cheap, and then the unthinkable, the engine went one month later -
your battery is dead or just really flat, the starter motor makes a ticking noise because theres not enough power in the battery get the starter motor to crank the engine over, new battery and it will be fine

Aftering a turbo charger for my R33
silverskyline replied to howhow82's topic in Forced Induction Performance
i took my turbo off and took it to garret, around $950 that got my ihi turbo converted to a garret and turned into a t3/t4 hiflow, theres a bit off work to get the turbo off and back on, it made such a difference, when i first put it on i could only run a maximum of 11psi, but it went very hard, much more responsive, made the car feel like it wasnt straining anymore, now ive also added a front mount, exhuast, airfilter, and the car churps in third gear, next is computer and that will do me for a while, and i havent changed injectors and other things like that, that will come later, anyway, when u do up ur car, there are stages u do it in, -
water sprays for intercoolers have been around for a long time, there are kits you can by for 150 i think, its the same as your window washer, except with a nozzle that sprays, instead of shooting jets

Tyres what are you running in 255's ?
silverskyline replied to Roy13's topic in General Automotive Discussion
ive tried everything, first up 255/40/17 pirrelli p6000, absolute shit, wore them out in a 5weeks, ive had falkens, so-so, they wear quick, and if you drive easy, after a few months the falken rubber dries out, good soft compound are the yokohama, but they wear quick, lot of smoke, the best dry road tyre were the yokohama advanceX, like super glue, the slitest drop of rain u were driving sideways down the road, bridgestone potenza 245/45/17, pretty good tyres, i got these on a set of rims that i bought, they just came from japan, the tyres retailed for 475each, the ones that i got were brand new, they were pricey becuase they were 245, harder to get, not as common -
the people arnt low lifes, thats there job description to be like that, you want them to say dont worry about a deposit, here u take the keys so we cant sell it to somebody else, oh do you need a courtesy car untill u decide if u want the car, there job is to sell the car, ofcoarse their going to be ruthless, thats their job, no job, no money, think next time, their trying to sell u the car especially when uve got some many places to go and get one, different story if its something rare, like 10 in the world
