  1. Instrument cluster is smashed and they also ripped out the needles off for some reason. yeah, there is not such thing as hand brake cover. I mean't the gear stick surround cover. I might have access to one of these as well. i will let you know via PM if I need you to look. Thanks for the help.
  2. Hello I had another look and it is not as bad as it looks. The biggest pain is losing one of the GTS2 mags. I have another set full set of locks already (just need to TIG up the boot hole) and I got quoted $200 for a new windscreen fitted. Just need the instrument cluster and handbrake cover. Do you have extras of these that you want to sell? Also, the steering rack is leaking oil, Don't know if you got a spare rack as well? Goes to show how strong the RB30 motor is. It must have been revved hard to pop the tyres as they still had a bit of tread on them.
  3. Hey guys. Just got back from Melbourne. Here is the roundup. Car is in Ok condition. It has a smashed front windscreen, the drivers lock has been ripped out and my left rear white wheel is missing. It looks like they took it for burnouts and when the tire blew, just chucked the rim somewhere. Also the fuel cap is damaged and they had stuffed newspaper down the tank. I guess they were going to torch it later in the night if it wasn't picked up. They also smashed up the dash and the engine has an oil leak from the exhaust side. I hope it hasn't blown a head gasket or seal. Not sure what to do with the car. Depends on how much the windscreen is. a20089 - I own you a case of beer or something. I will sent you a PM. Thanks for looking guys. The police weren't much help and even after I rang them and told them were it was and could I take it, they told me I had to wait. They then organised their own tow which cost me $265 to get from the corner of Fyshwick to Fyshwick and didn't inform me until I rang them back to find out what was going on. Cheers, Brett
  4. Thanks for looking guys. Still hasn't turned up. I guess it will end up as parts on ebay. The wheels are very hard to hide as there were only 200 of the GTS2 skylines in Aus. Might start watching the forums/papers to see if anybody sells a set.

  6. Yep, that is the colour. Just had the different front bonnet with the lip that sort of wraps done to the bumper a bit.
  7. Thanks. Taken from the dirt car park across from the Civic CIT. Yeah I might go to a drive around the area tomorrow. Had almost a full tank of fuel so I guess they could get a fair way.
  8. Hello Someone stole my R31 Skyline Silhouette from the TAFE carpark today. It is one of the Australian series 3 cars with the dark/light grey paint scheme - fairly common - and the round rear tail lights. It is easily identified as it has the GTS II white mags on (from the red limited series car - 5 spoke white mag). Rego: YXJ592. I don't have any pictures of the car. Any help appreciated. My mobile is 0409 817 616. Thanks. Brett
  9. Hello I have lost the heat shields for my exhaust manifolds and the left hand side engine mount (actual alloy arm) during my engine build. Anyone got the heat shields around from a single turbo conversion? or the engine mount? Cheers, Brett
  10. I seem to have lost the left hand side engine mount (as sitting in the drivers seat) while rebuilding my RB26. After a replacement mount, not the rubber mount but the actual alloy arm. Cheers.
  11. Hello I am installing a set of HKS GT-SS turbos onto my GTR and noticed that the banjo bolt for the oil line has a brass restrictor in it. Does anybody know if I should use this or use the original banjo bolt which would flow heaps more oil? The one that comes with the turbos has a oil hole that would only be about 1mm is size. The original banjo bolt is about 3-4mm in size. I would have thought that the more oil the better? I can't read the instructions as they are in Japanese. Any help appreciated. Cheers.
  12. I will try to rephrase the question: What is the standard compression ration for a GTR? How much does this move for a .2mm gasket thickness increase? ie, does it move from 8.5 to 8.9? Any help appreciated.
  13. I have a couple of questions then: 1. I had brought a 1.8mm metal head gasket, can anyone guess at what my resulting compression ratio would be? I am guessing that it would be the same as using a 1.6mm gasket on a standard motor? 2. What would be the compression ration if I ran a standard head gasket (1.2mm) with the pistons protruding 8thou? Just trying to work out the best combination for running R34 N1 turbos on the motor. Thanks.
  14. Hello I have had my bottom end rebuilt in my GTR and installed Arias pistons that stick out of the block by 8thou. What thickness head gasket would I need to buy to keep the standard GTR comp ratio? I am guessing that 8thou is approx .2mm? What is a standard GTR head gasket thickness? Cheers.
  15. Sorry guys. I have sold everything I wanted to sell. The rest I am keeping for parts. Cheers.
