  1. I know i don't have a Skyline, but i do have a Automatic toyota Chaser. It is making 230rwkw on 15psi and i finally ran mine the other night and got a 12.95@110 mph. My 2.134 60fts were ok but my single spinner diff is holding me back. I'll get the diff done, and get some street slicks, and see if i can get that 60ft down to something respectable. With say a 1.9 60ft time and the speed i'm trapping at now, that should put me into mid to low 12's. Not too bad for a daily driver
  2. Hey just wondering how much for 2x225/55VR16 SS535's delivered to Brisbane 4017 Cheers
  3. YES champ car is broadcast on Free to air television. Check out channel 7 on monday nights, around midnight. Channel 10 used to have it until last week, in a similar timeslot. So check it out, we all can barrack for Will Power in the Champ cars
  4. i've read somewhere that a car door takes around 5 square feet of deadening, just wondering if that is 5 feet to do the inner, outer and door trim, or just the inner skin? i'm just trying to work out how much i need to do my 4 doors inner, outer and door trim as well. Thanks guys
  5. i don't know if it has been posted here yet, but i'll do it again just incase... enjoy http://www.kumho.com.au/KUMHO-redsmoke.wmv
  6. just a quick question. I want to fit a 320km/h dash panel to my chaser. The only thing i'm a lil confused on is does it have to be callibrated at all or is it just take out the original one and put the new one in? does it just correct itself to read the correct speed? Thanks
  7. Mike at MV AUTOMATICS (1 Stirling Rd Blackwood SA 5051 (08) 8370 0430, if you want to stay with auto and have a spare $2600, will be able to make a box bulletproof up to and over 300rwkw, just a thought...
  8. From what i heard the other day, the power fc will run with the auto but you have to manually shift the auto once it is done. A place called M V Auto's do it, and its around the $300 mark i think. It's just a lil black box that takes control of the gearbox and lets the power fc do it's own thing with everything else. He does awesome work, and even HPI or Zoom are using him at the moment with their rb26 4 door skyline they are doing. He has no website, but here is his address and number : Unit 3/1 Stirling Road, Blackwood, SA, 5051. Phone:. (08) 8370 0430. For a full rebuild in most auto cars, it is around $2600 but that is a full rebuild, carbon clutches, more cluches per gear, upgraded stally, stage 1 or 1.5 shift kit, service lockup clutch etc. That for the 1jz auto will hold 330+kw so i'd ring him and ask about the skyline ones, but i can't see there'd be too much difference Hope that helps
  9. just wondering where Newkon trader had gone, doesn't he deal on here anymore? Thanks
  10. so is that $900 including all the bits and pieces or $900 and then harness and software on top of that? just confused
  11. sydney kid, i don't race cars and nor am i a suspension specialist, but my mates S15 silvia has tein coilovers with 9kg fronts and 7kg/mm rears spring rates. He circuit races it but it still drives really nice on most roads, unless it is really full of pot holes. Traction isn't an issue either. It has a HKS GTRS running 1.30bar and makes over 350rwhp and only really bags it in first gear, as soon as second hits it grips and goes like the clappers. He does use the Dunlop DZ02G semi slicks, which probably helps on the track, but he drives on these all day everyday, and even without heating them up, they still don't spin much at all, and corners like no tomorrow. As i said i'm no professor when it comes to suspension, but my Personal Opinion Is : I think with the right driving style and tyre combination, it will all work out.
  12. well i haven't got a skyline, but in my chaser i ran a 14.06 @103mph with a 2.38 60ft time running standard SMIC and running 8.5psi (9.5 on the spike). I just couldn't get off the line even with the auto as i had bald tyre I'm having a guess with a 1.8-1.9 60Ft mark with the same mph i would be in the mid 13's
