  1. hey, thanks we took your advice and took the part numbers to our nissan dealer, they had to take down our compliance plates and vin and engine numbers and email them to nsw who emailed them to japan to get the part number for the exhaust valves, head gasket, exhaust gasket and valve stem seals! valves are $25 each ( 4 needed) head gasket $106 exhaust gasket $98 and each stem seal is $12.50 ! ( x 24) and the mechanic is charging $390 to shave head clean and check all valves and whatever else he does and then put all the new valves and seals back in ! then we bring it home and put it all back together and it goes like a beasto! (were hoping) and then we have to sell it cos were expecting a little girl at the end of Feb! prams and bub wont fit in fast car! rod is spewin but hes way excited about bubs so it doesnt matter (new stage in life coming right up)! commodore or pajero, here we come ! a big job ! parts are coming from over from over east should be here tuesday! will let ya's know ! thanks for your help, woulda been in tha shit if u hadnt of given us the numbers!
  2. thanks mate will ring now and chase them up
  3. hey everyone, thanks for your help about the timing belt ! it was snapped and we replced it only to find the car still running like shit ! have since ripped the head off, the pistons are fine but 2 vales are bent, we are wondering where to get them from in perth if possible? there is nowhere up here that will touch it. After we get them a mechanic up here can put them in ! has anyone bought any from perth, we can only find a place in new south wales that sell them seperately for $60 each?? any ideas also on a head gasket under $400 would be great too!! cheers guys! ( and the reason is we were living in augusta working out of geraldton, now we are living in gero but augusta is home town )
  4. Hey peoples! Our timing belt went on the weekend! We have the new belt, were not sure if it has done any further damage? hopefully not ! Does anyone have any idea how to put it back on and in the right spots after its snapped? We have asked a few machanics in town and no one wants anything to do with our car?? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated! its only just got back on the road after the yellow sticker and now this??!!! ahhh anyway, anything would help.... its a R33 95 GTST cheers !
  5. heya guys ! thanks for all your help, we are now officially licensed in WA!! they checked all our engine numbers and compliance plates and stuff with the head guy in perth cos they didnt know anything about them here ! the guy in perth said we are 1 out of 3 cars in australia licenced and complianced with a turbo and all our mods? does this make any sense to anyone as i thought they all were? apparently anything can get complianced with in tasmania and thats where ours was brought into to! anyway thanks everyone for your help in the last month, muchly appreciated, now when rod comes back in from the islands he can drive it again! very carefully as he only has 2 points left! ezza!
  6. Hey everyone its us from Geraldton again ! We got a yellow sticker, weve taken it out to the pits and they said to remove our BOV and replace it with original or get it plumbed back in? anyone have any ideas what to do or where we could get this piece from?? we rang jap parts and jap wreckers but to no avail?? any help would be appreciated! cheers guys!
  7. hey everyone, we got done a couple of weeks ago and were wondering if anyone knows the best place to take it to get it removed, in geraldton?? got caught for a blown headlight, tasmanian plates and engine mods. So now everything has to be checked. Just wondering how you go about going over the pits with a turbo and intercooler and the likes without having permits for them? is it possible? any ideas would be greatly appreciated! the guy thats works at tyrepower here has a new kit... very nice!!!

  9. nah that wasnt me, but i did see it when i was in busselton on saturday...some guy driving it with his mrs... also saw a black (i think 33) in busso on friday night, he gave us a wave but i had already gone passed....
  10. Were from down here...dunsborough is a hole... if you surf you should come down that little bit extra to yallingup or margaret river, or even if you dont our beaches are still worth the visit !!! If ya see a Blue 33 thats me or Rod!!!
  11. o wicked...im not as scared now... thanks guys!! The car is in our name, has been for 4 months or something so i shouldnt have to pay stamp again.... and the rego is due this month so its probably not worth getting receipts and stuff huh? thanks heaps...!!
  12. do u have to rip the wing off and stuff? and we have guages all over the passenger dash and on the drivers door panel bit. When we got caught be the cops in perth he said we need permits for everything? is it just easier to take it all off to go over the pits?
