  1. Bump. Big price drop to $8,900. I really need this out of the shed to make room for a new project and would rather someone drive it as is rather than stripping it. Price is relatively firm at $8,900.
  2. Selling the old turbo kit off my RB25 Cefiro as I went to a large setup. The turbo is super responsive but I'd suggest it is better suited to an RB20 than 25 as it loses too much top end on the 25. The last few times I drove the car at winton it blew smoke under deceleration load. After upgrading to the new turbo this problem has gone so I suspect the turbo bearings may be worn hence the super cheap price. Included for the price: RB20/25 manifold with T28 adapter plate welded on (great for running small turbos on RB20s!) Garrett GT2876r dual ball bearing turbo (suit rebuild) All lines (except the drain hose) Dump and front pipes Intake piping and joiners 90mm VH41de AFM Pod filter Price: $150 Location: Melton West, Vic (Pickup only) Contact: PM or 0409 623 940

  5. Putting my much loved Cefiro up for sale to fund the purchase of a rally car and I unfortunately don’t have space to keep both. 8. Check out the auber gauges. Super accurate and can be wired up to a beeper alarm. I've got them in my Cefiro and wired a switch into the alarm for when the car isn't running etc. Alarms are fully adjustable and if you want to change what the gauge is for down the track you just buy another sender and wire it up. They are relatively cheap too (more now with the AUD going down) but I just bought 2 for my Patrol as well as they were $226 delivered. Brilliant after sales service too! I've since added labels to each one but here is a summary: Oil temp Oil pressure (shown in Bar - car was off at time of photo) Water temp Warning buzzer - Each gauge has configurable warning levels switched by an internal relay. All 3 gauges are negatively switched to the buzzer so when the internal relay switches upon hitting the limit it will start the buzzer flashing and beeping Switch for buzzer - I added a switch to the buzzer so if something goes wrong and I'm aware of it, it doesn't continually keep beeping at me! Switch to allow radio, clock, central locking to work when the kill switch is off. When it is on it allows current to pass through a 15amp fuse across the kill switch terminals so if you try and start the car without the kill switch the fuse blows. When it is off it means the car is drawing no power. Kill switch
  9. Do we need to be an SAU member to attend? I notice it says affiliate clubs in the supp regs, is that CAMS affiliated clubs? Very keen to come along to learn some new skills.
  10. What are your plans for it?...would be my first question If you are tracking it then suspension, diff etc. If it's a daily then boost controller and a dyno run to make sure its safe, then suspension and a remap. The list is pretty much endless...
  11. Thanks guys, Ended up finding one on a Ford Corsair (same shape as a U12 Pintara) in Melton. I was super excited, removed it and took it home only to realise the Pintara/Corsair have a passenger side filler and Cefiro has a drivers side. This meant the little angled piece was facing the wrong way. The plastic piece can be rotated but it requires grinding out the little stud that holds one of the arms together. I did this, rotated the arm, but it back together and then put a small bolt and nyloc nut through the hole to secure it together. $20 later and I have a working fuel lid and boot again (took me a while to work out the boot as the safety latch keeps dropping down on its own...)
