Hi there, I too live around epping and I used to take my car to a couple of the places around that side of town. However I have been taking my car to RACEPACE Motorsport for the past few years now and even through they are on the other side of town and takes me almost an hours drive it is still worth it. The guys there only work on skylines and know these cars inside out. Well worth the time, money to send my car down there.

Was it working when you pulled it out from the car.

when it was time to do mine i just replaced the center bearing and got the tail shaft re-balanced. Worked out well

hahaha fair call. Yes someone start the register, The only person who i can think of the top of my head is beer baron who has a Aus one. That not a bad price, looks like they are holding there value, At the time of me buying mine i paid 32k for it and that was 5 years ago.

I do still have the car. I have been thinking about selling it though as it's time i start a family. That is a good idea about the register, would be interesting to see how many are left.

how about getting console and running a diag on the car. This will tell you what sensor is at fault, from there if there is a senor or two that fails, you could borrow the parts and re-test. This will also show you if parts of the wiring is damaged, I hope this helps you.
