hey mate i had the same problem with my R34 and fixed it on the weekend in about 2 hours. you can pull out the glove box and gain access to the heater core. all you need is a couple of philipshead screwdrivers and a ten mill spanner my problem was with the little plastic pipes that go thro the firewall and join the heater core. i had to buy the complete assembly in order to get the plastic pipes........... so if you just want the core you can have mine for $40, if they are the same as r32? pickup from Glen Waverley. 0402749640

MODS DELETE POST IF YA WANT I was able to score some good second hand ones. and if anyone is having the same problems i was able to find out that GU patrol's and Maxima's use the same heater core so the little plastic pipes my be compatible aswell? look into it!!!!!!!!!

hey all, i'm after the plastic pipes that come off the heater core and go through the firewall into the engine bay and connect to the soft heater hoses near the turbo on a r34/33. mine are stuffed and i went to nissan and they wanted a heap of cash for them as they had to import them from overseas. anyways any info welcome

hi i have a rb25det r34 but there is a lose/cut wire in the engine bay. pretty sure it's the knock sensor, comes starts on the loom under the intake manifold towards the back of the engine bay. (pic up soon) the car misses a bit and doesn't really rev out much past 5,000rpm anyways i've got a stuffed shoulder and can't really tinker with my car but i wanted to know if this: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/NISSAN-SILVIA-300ZX...=item4cf2461fe2 will be the right one to replace it? cheers in advance

hi i just want those three things if ya got them please message me with where you are and prices 1998 r34 rb25det knock sensor +loom, radiator bung for the bottom where it drains, heater core pipes that go through the fire wall and connect to the coolant hoses. thanks

Thanks to everyone who made constructive comments, greatly appreciated. (worped & b_riddels; your both as useless as ‘tits on a bull’, i’m keeping this username just to piss you off now. Not that it matters at all but.................... Seaford is the better known neighbouring suburb, that’s why I said the car came from there) Read the receipt for the rebuild, full bottom end and clean and gaskets ect......dude spun a big end bearing due to driving it with the sludge/oil that came in the car from japan. This was towards the end of 2008l, so it’s some piece of mind? Llama_au; I throw up a little every time I see a four door skyline! Plus I only getting this cos its cheap and i plan on flogging it off in 6 months. Maybe you should buy it off me? Xalmon; yeh it wasn’t ideal circumstances as i only had a week to buy a car and this was the best one i saw Also the little bung on the passengers side, bottom of the radiator seems to have a slight leak! Anyone know where i could get a new one. It’s about the same size as a 5ct coin, looks like it may be the drain point although it;s stripped out hard in the middle where you undo it. cheers

will a r33 rb25de manual box fit a r34re25det auto engine? found a bloke that will sell one for 650 and i thinking about getting it as i want to convert my car next year thanks
