  1. FOR SALE: $1500 (NOT NEGOTIABLE) 1987 Skyline Ti (Series 2) Automatic 168,000km (Full Garry Rogers Nissan service history from new with books + receipts since I have owned it of all work completed) Registered UZK-042 until August 2009. Just spent loads of money on the car and got a company car. Moving to an appartment so I need to get rid of the Skyline ASAP! The car is almost perfect, body is excellent (very minor scratches/dints only) and drives unbeleivably well except for a bearing noise comming from the gearbox. Ideal candidate for a manual conversion or simply replace the auto and you've got yourself a MINT condition Ti. I have priced everything already because I was going to keep it as a second car but I just don't have the room for it. A second hand auto from any of the wreckers you can pick up for under $500 and labour to fit the same (under $500). Total $1000. Alternitavely, this car would be fantastic for parts... just the money I have spent on this car ALONE in the last 3 months is more than what I am asking for the car.... below is a list of some things I have just had done, all receipts available. Recently (December 2008) had a full reco of the diff (cost $2000+) including new LSD centre, bearings, the whole kit and kaboodle! New uni's in the tailshaft, new centre bearing. New Pedders power steering rack (complete) incl. tie rod ends New wheel bearings (all 4) New brake pads and rotors (front) New Pedders comfort gas shock absorbers (rear) All 4 tyres good (Used but 90%) No oil leaks. Required for RWC: Windscreen (has one small chip and is mildly pitted) The only things that do not work on the car are the cruise control and the odometer intermittently (both). These are both related to a faulty speed sensor. Extras: Hayman Reece Towbar Autotechnica Sports Steering wheel (+original wheel) Genuine Nissan Sklyine floor mats Alpine CD/MP3 Player with aux input fitted (ipod ready) Pioneer Splits + Pioneer 2 Ways Cadence 4ch Amplifier Kicker Comp 12" Sub in Custom Inverted/Ported Box PLEASE CONTACT BY TELEPHONE ON 0400 569 598 or email [email protected] *MORE PHOTOS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST* This car will be listed on Carsales.com.au if not sold on this website within 2 weeks.

  6. the hunting at idle is pretty common for skylines, usually relating to the oxygen sensor, its probably filthy, or f#@ked, get a new NTK one from Petroject for about $100-120 and should fix your problem. May have something to do with AFM too so i'd probably try cleaning both the oxygen sensor and the airflow meter and see how it goes after that.
  7. I think you need to either buy or fabricate a hicas blocker and forget about translating the bloody docs. HICAS is useless, if anything, a pain in the ass.
  8. I own an R34 GT-T with an R33 GTR motor in it, but i sell these cars for a living. The R34 is a far more apealing car in terms of looks, styling etc. but performance wise and durability, the 2JZ is far better than the RB25. If you were comparing to a R33 GTR i would probably go for the GTR just because 1 its a GTR and 2 i am a nissan man, never owned anything but a nissan. Also the driving/seating position in the supra is pretty crap, you sit down too low, cant see over the bonnet properly (btw i am 6ft1) and you have heaps of blind spots due to the design of the hatch. Take the supra, better quality car all round but make sure you go for the 96 model with the bigger brakes, better interior, recaro seats, 17" wheels yada yada yada we have one for sale at the moment for just over $30k immaculate 6spd with sexy work wheels. check it out if you're interested (kamikaze motors, nunawading, vic)
