  1. Finally took a couple of pics... The roof and bonnet had some major dings... The front bar was pretty much hacked for the IC and had plenty of driveway damage... When the weather clears up, i'll try and take some more shots...

  3. Damage was pretty bad. A couple of really deep dings in the roof. There were quite a few on the bonnet, boot and quarter panels too.
  4. Hi All, I just thought I'd share my awesome experience with Michael / MiColour after a terrible 4 months dealing with my insurance company. Basically, I got hit with the Xmas day hail on my R33. After making a claim with my insurer, inspection after inspection, I was getting nowhere. Michael went in to bat for me and after 4 long, painful months (where I got to the point that I was over the car and my insurance company) Michael got the final insurance inspection done and my car was approved for repair. So after a few weeks, the car was ready. Pulling into MiColour, I was blown away!!! Closer inspection revealed the paint was unbelievably perfect! All the dings from the hail gone! The colour is awesome just how Nissan intended it to be. I also had Michael fix the front bar and it looks fantastic. Michael even fixed some damage that must have been done when the car was in Japan and re-aligned my boot! If you need some paint work done, MiColour should be at the top of your list. Most body shops want your car in and out, at the expense of workmanship. But Michael has pride in the work he does. I can't express how happy I am and have a reinvigorated passion for my car! After a disastrous 4 months, all is now great! I will post some pics up in the next day or so. Shop details are in my sig...
  5. My car does the same thing... no idea what it is...
  6. Engine/Car: 1995 R33 GTS25t - RB25DET Series 2 Type of failure: Spun bearing Factors influencing the failure: Not too sure - shit happens State of tune of the engine: PFC tuned - been running fine on the same setup / tune for years Suspension and tyres: Hot bits adjustable coil overs - Kumho Ecsta KU36 235/45/R17 Oil used and service interval: Motul 8100 - every 5000kms General comments: Last service was 500kms ago. Was running fine, pulled into my driveway, heard loud knocking from the engine bay, thought it was the main fan hitting intercooler but alas it was not.... Engine swap happening in a month... O_o
  7. that sounds pretty cheap... i just did my second major... i changed: - timing belt - water pump - cam and front crank seals - timing belt idler bearing - timing belt tensioner bearing - air con belt - power steering belt - water pump belt - thermostat - engine oil - coolant - gearbox oil - spark plugs including parts and labor i paid $1400... and i still need to get the diff oil changed and a few other bits and pieces...
  8. what engine do you have... it's reasonably common to use a rb25 turbo as an upgrade on a rb20...
  9. i've been running w7 64bit for a little and it flies... quick boot up time and even my old crappy games run on it...
  10. that thing looks pretty beaten up... imho stick with the stocker...

  12. do man! open a rehersal joint... especailly if it's in the west... you'd have to make sure the PAs are good... danes are peavey which are ok... kindred have shocking PAs... better off plugging a mic into a guitar amp and singing through that...
  13. i saw parkway a year or so ago... very, very good live... your band sounds quite good... nice and heavy... i used to practice at kindred like most rehersal rooms it's a s**t hole... i can't talk though, my band practices at what used to be danes in brunswick...
  14. nice guitar... i started to hot rod my old epi but it's been sitting around for a while. grover tuners are really, really good! i have a set on my ESP-LTD... gotoh are also really, really good (the magnums are sick!)... and the '59 are a great pickup, i have one in my ESP horizon... is the tailpiece post width metric or imperial?
