  1. i just wasnt driving it... cant leave it at work..cant leave it at the station cant drive to bondi or popular areas..have to be careful of police due to over zealous officers and their defect books, I love the car its just too much to worry about and oh yeah $2500 per year to insure. and I want to have a family in the future and they are getting harder to sell and de valuing all the time...ive lost 10k this time...next year it may be worse. Scott ps thanx buster
  2. Hi guys, Well i finally sold my car (still waiting for all the cash though) for a measly $23600, selling these things is hard these days and can be a little scary, i think i will get something a little less fun so i will be able to drive every day without living in fear... the guy who bought it is only 19 I dont know where ppl get the money from these days...anyway i will be a little sad to see it go but in the future who knows maybe when i can afford to have a toy it could be gtr time...anyway just thought I would let you all know Scott
  3. im sure it was a beast but 30k? still very high these days... Scott
  4. did you get 30k for your gtst? if so how? what were the specs? im trying to sell mine and the market is really bad...any hints? Scott
  5. I guess the insurance company didn't require it.. but i think maybe its better it didn't have any alarms in this case cause if they cant steal it they would have just damaged it in all likely hood. Still the real question is why ppl feel the need to take others possesions rather than working for their something to call their own that they can be proud of. In the end khama will get these scum, maybe one day we will be able to leave our cars unlocked like the good old days....the way it should be. Scott
  6. Hi all, Yes it is very bad, these days you cant leave your car anywhere, the thing in josh's case is he had no alarm or immobiliser, and although it is easy to say in hindsight everyone should have one installed...if not turn your clublocks around so they cant get to the lock and maybe disconnect your ignition, the papers say they are using wrx's and sky's for ram raids atm so we all need to be extra careful, no where is safe... and also if your cars not insured dont leave it...lucky in this case it is but thats the only good point, but now I guess there is one less sky driver who has been relegated to driving a s**tbox...but oh well these ppl will get theirs in the end... this is also the reason why we all have trouble selling and insuring our cars because of scum like the ones who have taken josh's car, good luck bro I hope all works out well for you. well i have had no probs with my auto micro and for the features it is hard to beat...there are different models available ...I think any alarm can be beaten but i tell you from experience the auto micro is comparable to anything you guys are discussing, ring the guy up and have a talk to him and you will see what i mean. scott

no idea sorry, but all i know is it would be difficult to steal and can be very sensitive if you want it to be, the guy makes alot of this stuff himself and is a very good installer and in my oppinion worth a look, especially since you cant set your alarm on a brant while the turbo timer is running which I find quite handy. I use a auto micro alarm and a separate 3 point immobilser which cost all up $600, it has turbo timer run down, window closers, remote central locking, anti jacking protection and has a total of 4 points immobilised, and if they beat 1 system they have to beat the other, Im sure if ppl are interested I can talk to the guy to get them done at a group buy price, my brother is going to get his 32 done there and the guy knows his stuff. Also he can hook up a mobile phone to the system and if your alarm goes off you punch in a code, and you can set off internal piezos, and switch your cutout points on and off just to make it harder, also the great thing about it is if you get car jacked you give them the car, let them drive out of harms way, dial your car up and shut it down, then you know where the car is and your safe as well...best of both worlds and I think for that system it was an extra $500 or something. anyway i just thought I would share that with you all..good luck. Scott
  11. thanx mate i hope so too...thankfully im not desperate to sell at the moment but id still like not to be paying it off...but worst comes to worst i'll keep it i guess.. Scott
  12.
