  1. It seems that I was wrong about the Mileage (took a guess without looking): She's actually only done 72,332 Kms as of this morning, I drove it to work to get her warmed up and running nicely (she's not a daily driver).
  2. Car: 1996 Series 1.5 R33 Skyline GTS 25t Milage: 80,000+ kms (I'd have to look for the exact number) Transmission: 5sp Manual Colour: Wine Red / Maroon Location: Brisbane - Aspley Currently registered - Yes Price: $12,000 - price is negotiable Contact: Justin 0448 144 598 Comments / Modifications: The car is stock except for the following items: * MSpec Front Bar/Spoiler + GTR Grill (Came with the car) * Kaiser Rims (235s) * Viper 3 Point Alarm + Engine Immobilizer * Blitz Turbo Timer * Darkest Legal Tint (3M) Perfect for Modding (absolutely stock, very neat and very very clean, hasn't been thrashed or raced, excellent condition). He's had it serviced every 6 months. It's got brand new tyres on it and just had a service done. I can give you a run down of what maintenance has been done to it since he got it. Reason for Sale: This is actually my brothers car, he's looking at buying a brand new Triton Ute. Serious offers only please.
  3. What colour is the label on the Air Flow Meter? Also what year/model skyline is the AFM out of?
  4. Bugger, I've only got a Stock ECU. I think my mechanic oiled my pod filter about 6 months back. Sucking down the oil must have forked it. Not sure how I can clean the oil out of it.
  5. Hey Guys, I need a little help, my Air Flow Meter in my Skyline is playing up. My Car has been intermittently dropping boost randomly and then running into limp home mode after it happens. I can turn my engine off and then on again and the problem disappears. My Mechanic has identified the AFM to be the problem, and I've confirmed this by swapping with my brothers. Does anyone know if a Nismo AFM will work in a R33 Series 2 with Stock ECU? Thanks
  6. I've had the same problem you've got a faulty Air Flow Meter. Get your mechanic to test the AFM by plugging in a consult tool and trying to replicate the problem, he should find the AFM maps are all over the place. From my understanding you can't use the Z32 AFM's with the stock ECU's as they give different readings from the Stock AFMs, so if you have one, that could be a reason. Programmable ECU's can deal with the Z32 AFM's.
  7. I'm after a (Pink Label) Air Flow Meter for my Series 1.5 R33 Skyline.
  8. I'm not a car guru, but I have had a similiar issue after washing out the engine bay of my R33. I managed to get water into the wiring loom. It caused the coils to short out and start arc'ing. The water causes the spark to arc into the block rather than arcing through the spark plug gap. I started my R33 while the coils were wet and she started mis-firing something really really bad. I left the car out in the sun with the bonnet up for a few hours and it was improved. She only started mis-firing after 4000 rpm. It took a while but she dried out and was working fine after that. It could be that you have the same issues. Either that or you have water causing a short circuit in your wiring loom. Hope this helps
