  1. Hi - add my name to the list if you can - if all goes ahead would you be ok to ship mine to the UK? I have got a set of cyberstork white dials with blue font - I haven't got round to fitting them yet and they read in km/h not miles which I'd have to cover or change somehow - these seem a better option for me if I can have mph printed on instead. Anyway, stick me on the list if poss - I could always add my other set on the aussie ebay site later! Cheers!
  2. Yeah cheers mate - the coilpacks I know are a problem on the RB25DET - (don't get them hot - I know, lets stick 'em on top of a 2.5 litre turbo charged engine and stick a lid on top with no vents!) Even the Japanese make mistakes I guess. I had your miss too - new coilpacks solved it - had them dipped in epoxy first - helped a bit but no cure. I swaped mine for a new set of standard packs and the miss-fire is gone. This 'cough' is different however - it is like a sudden one-off miss - but stronger somehow - seems almost as if the turbo stops spooling and then resumes really fast - there is a slight sound of air/pressure escaping during the event too - as if something is choked - still got the standared centre section on the exhaust - do you reckon that might be part of the problem? Failing that I think its got to be the ECU/fuel management or something. If I blip the throttle so it kicks down and shoots past the 3000-4000 mark it seems to by pass the problem. Makes you look like an aggressive driver though and pisses my wife off! Cheers John
  3. Sorry guys - I kind of got half way through writing and had to go. Running an e-Boost2 controler also - and the whole thing has been set up really well by the peeps at weston performance - in the absence of further ECU and fuelling mods. These are obviously the next step but funds won't allow just yet. Its been tuned to a reliable 300 (223 kw) at 0.9 bar - and with an appropriate ECU, fuel pump, Fcon etc it should make closer to 400+. This cough thing seems to disappear after it is hot and has some high revs/boost - and sometimes it dosent happen at all. Just had new coilpacks so they're good and its not a misfire as such anyway - its like a very quick foot off the throtle and back on again. The other bloke who said he'd got this issue said that his seemed to do it at 3-4000 revs and then 5000, 6000, 7000 (on seperate climbs up the dial) and then it was clear for the rest of the run. Mine seems more hit and miss though. I was just wondering if anyone else had experienced the same thing - and if it was just a Stagea Auto transmition characteristic. Cheers anyway guys - any ideas welcome. John
  4. Hello - I'm trying to do a bit of research into the cause of this - I spoke to someone else and they said theirs does it too. It seems to be around 3000 rpm and on boost - and worse when cold (I don't rag it when cold but going uphill for example when it kicks down and the boost comes in it could do it then). It feels almost like fuel starvation - a proper throttle-off cough - wondering if its to do with the valve timing, fuel pump or transmition (basically no feckin' idea). Engine mods so far: GT30 Turbo (just fitted - but it did this before) Turbosmart e-Boost2 Blitz down pipe Trust-GReddy FMIC HKS Fuel-Cut Defenser HKS SuperFlow Filter Rolling road tuned and set up 300 bhp @ 0.9 bar TEIN Coil-overs got to go cheers John
  5. http://www.nengun.com/trust-greddy/intercooler-kit-spec-r I bought one from here - being fitted this week - designed to fit complete with joints and pipes. Available in different specs and sizes - quality kit! John
  6. I've got the front and rear mudflaps stored in my shed - took them off a while back - no rear wing though. John
  7. Hi peeps - I know this is an old thread and has been covered a few times but I'm concerned as my Stagea has developed exactly this vibration issue. I'm in the UK and the cars are a rarity over here so I'm trying to research this as much as possible before taking it in next week to get sorted. I've had the wheels balanced but it has not improved. I had the wheel alignment checked at the same time and they said that they set all 4 wheels parallel as per most other 4WD vehicles - but I have noticed some feathering on the front tyres since then. Was it wrong to get them aligned like that? It is in next week having a load of work done so I want them to try and sort this too. All 4 tyres are toyo proxes but the fronts are slightly less worn than the rears, could this be an issue? I've got a set of Tein SuperWagon Coilovers going on so they can have a good look around then - and I guess the suspension swap might even remove the problem anyway. Any suggestions would be really appreciated - I'll try to glean as much as I can from the other threads - but I'm not really technically minded so any 'plain english' (or plain ozzie) explainations would be great. Cheers peeps. Ps - I'm also having a Blitz down pipe, a GReedy Front mount fitted and the Turbo is being re-built with GT30 internals - looking forward to getting it back after! John
  8. Cheers Mr Bass - Yep I'll take a blue one for my series 1 Stagea. Let me Know the total inc. international shipping to the UK and I'll paypal it too you the next day. Ta very much! John
  9. Thanks matey that's great - it is a series 1 so if you could put one aside for me that would be cool. I'll try to find out about the shipping too - cheers! John
  10. Hi - I'm probably too late but I'd like a deflector plate - any chance guys? If you could let me know including post to the UK (bubble wrap and all that) that would be great. Still an extremely rare site over here - and all the bits have to come from your side of the world. Cheers John

http://www.slidewizeimports.com/products/y...inksStagea.html helpfull people too - give them a go
  12. Mine is a mixture of leather and cloth at the minute - its a do as I can afford opperation! The door cards were quite damaged and needed a full re-trim, so I opted for a blue and black leather job. Will be good when finished I think, but looks a bit odd at the moment. Had the sun visors done in blue leather too! Not sure if I will swap the front seats for some other type before getting them re-trimed though. I fancy something a bit more 'bum hugging' like the GTR seats.

a few pictures of the clear repeaters and series 2 rears.
  14. My first mods were: 1 HKS intake pod 2 cat back pipe and big jap box (cheap but fun - saving for a Blitz or HKS system) 3 18" rims and Toyo Proxes 4 De-cat pipe 5 TurboSmart eBoost 2 (quality piece of Aussie kit!) 6 All day session in Dyno Dynamics Tuning Cell (another piece of Aussie goodness!) result = completely different car.

You're all heart mate! Yep already done the front and side repeaters - clear nismo ones and the fronts from Japan (no-name things off ebay) - looks much better. All I need to do now is figure out how to get a body kit over to the UK!
