  1. I got just shy of 500hp with a fairly tame -5 setup + e85 (details + dyno in build thread in sig if your interested), based on a recent tear down it's likely not all cylinders were round at the time ? Best thing about e85 compared to 98 was filled all the shortcomings of the low-mid range the setup had, it took a fun, but laggy setup to something very usable in all situations. Car should be back in a couple of weeks as most of the work is done now, so will be interesting to see what a fresh 2.6 with only a mild compression bump produces in comparison.
  2. Surface of the fins don't get painted, just the edges (and obviously the end tanks), so the vast majority of the IC area has no change in heat dissipation.
  3. I know there's a general dislike around the joint for twin setups, but given the hit and miss results of the GTX series, I'm interested to see what results come out of the woodwork for the G series. ...and if that fails, how good this series (larger frames) are in single config
  4. I would, and I did.... just match the profile of the turbo, no more no less. Would also recommend if you haven't already, ceramic coating the hotside from manifolds to front pipes while your there.
  5. I'm running -5s on e85 (flex setup) with Tomei Type Bs. They're a bit average on on 98 alone, but e85 really wakes the turbos up, mid range and boost response improved very noticeably from seat of my pants view. I'm boost limited due to an otherwise high km stock motor, a forged build with more boost would be pretty good thing with this setup IMO.
  6. Still got the following available... R32 GTR Injectors Blitz Dual SBC Spec-R (black) Nismo catback 3" suit R32 GTR (or non-4door r32s) Wheels and polished pipe gone, rest is still available.
  7. Options for symmetrical turbo configs? This pleases my OCD lol
  8. LOL looks like Danny @ 101 copied the booster delete @Sub Boy32 made for me when he installed it all those years ago.
  9. Look forward to getting smashed by this at RW !
  10. -5 for comparison, scaling looks to be fairly consistent between the two dyno charts.
  11. I'lll post up my -5 result later when Photobucket is back up (in my showcase below if I forget), but Ambi3nce's -9 result looks very similar to my -5 result. Main difference looks to be power band is on 300-500rpm sooner, and ~15% more peak torque ! (520 vs 605) Same boost, same peak power, same ecu, same cams, same fuel, same workshop, same tuner/dyno. ...not sure if you could get much closer in terms of setup for comparison? Headstuds & more boost should widen the gap between -5 & -9s in the top end though.
  12. I'm starting to see minor issues on e85 under WOT with splitfires, however as soon as I mix in some 98 again (flex setup) it completely goes away. This might be able to fixed up in the tune, but my feeling is the ignition system is near it's limit.
