  1. don't worry, I told wheels magazine that I was doing 1:04s all day, and 1:05's on Nankangs, but using my feet for extra push down the straight. At first they didn't believe me, but I just yelled "GTR!" at them until they thought I must be a professional race driver.
  2. the other way to keep the suspension geometry pretty good is not to drop the ride height too far. It works well on mine anyway!
  3. more videos! The 1:12.9 lap on Nankangs: Chasing an MR2 for a lap: Going for an off road excursion:
  4. I do my alignment by eye, and sometimes a stick Fine tuning is done by feel - ie, too much understeer? more toe out!
  5. Nankangs are the new race tyre. http://www.modulus.org/photos/trackdays/20...ub/DSC_0216.jpg
  6. Awesome! one day when I get some time I plan to do exactly that, SR20DE and all
  7. Yeah lots of push happening thanks to the tyres and not yet optimal alignment. Hopefully I'll have that sorted soon I may end up being out of the country, but if I'm here I'll be there - if that makes any sense Best cars ever!
  8. you should see it with decent tyres! It looks a lot better on the video than it felt in the car on the weekend, but it does turn in pretty nicely compared to most cars due to the lack of weight in the front
  9. Here are a couple more videos of my car from the weekend: A bit rainey: Non rainey: Both were a bit slow due to rather dead tyres, but it was fun
  10. I was really looking forward to heading home sans trailer too Here's some video from my car at the start of the day:
  11. read the fine print on most octane boosters claiming things like "10 point increase" and you'll find that 10 points = 1 RON
