  1. UPDATE: Managed to have a reputable workshop who used to use these rods back in the day get back to me with the correct torque. For those that may need to know into the future 50 Ft Lbs is the setting. Cheers
  2. Appreciate the reply and info, have sent off an email to PAR so hopefully can get some info back (phones are not curretly being answered due to COVID).
  3. Hi guys, Im in the process of assembling my RB30 bottom end after many years of collecting parts and I cannot for the life of me find what the correct torque settings are for PAR RB30 Billet rods. There is nothing on the internet that I can find so far and PAR rods dont seem to be available anywhere to buy anymore. If anyone would happen to have the torque specs that would be insanely appreciated as the PAR rods dont use ARP studs which makes it harder. Alternatively if anyone knows of any workshops that would have used them in the past that I could get in touch with that would be great. The rods bolts have the following stampings: PBF B3OUS and they are 3/8 bolts. Attached pics of the rod bolt and rods for reference. Really appreciate any leads.
  4. Hi guys, Before buying a new set, just wondering if anyone has some RB30 rods for sale, after some h beam Spool rods or similar. cheers

  9. Hey guys chasing a set of drop in cams prefer a set of type b tomei's or similar. Cheers
  10. Got it sorted. For those who are interested: IDref = 22 TDCref = 50 Cheers
  11. Hey guys, if anyone is running a Microtech ecu for your RB26 or RB25 could you please be so kind as to tell me the IDref and TDCref settings? Unfortunately I accidentally loaded a map into my ECU from when it used be a single cam RB30 and now my car won't start. I'm currently running a 26/30. So if anyone would know these settings please let me know! Also if anyone knows if there are any other critical settings I need to change to get it to fire up. Hopefully I don't have to send it back to microtech for another base map:( Thanks heaps.
  12. As per the heading I'm chasing a set of drop cams for an RB26 head. Would prefer type b tomei cams, or something of similar size that doesn't require any mods to fit. Cheers
  13. Thanks for the replies and info. I spoke with Microtech today and the trigger discs are different and the ecu will need to be returned to Microtech, however it is a simple change and was quoted $135 for this service.
  14. Hi guys, Currently I'm running a single cam RB30 using a Microtech LT10s, X4 ignition box and Toyota twin post coil packs running waste spark. I'm half way through building an RB26/30 and would like some information on how the RB26 CAS works/compares to the RB30 one in regards to its trigger outputs etc? as I would like to continue using my microtech setup as it its performing quite well. Does anyone know if the microtech I'm it's current configuration will read the rb26 one, or will it need to be reprogrammed? Also another thought I had if they are different was to put the RB30 trigger wheel inside the RB26 housing? Thanks for your help, John
  15. Still trying to track one down.
