Exhaust Types - Better or Worse?

Mine is a little different. None of the products on that page are similar. I'll go take a photo... -
Exhaust Types - Better or Worse?

The muffler has fujitsubo on it... and its rather quiet. It doesn't have a raspy/barky noise... more a muffled tone if you get what i mean. I'm unsure as to whether its custom or not, when i originally purchased the car, the exhaust hung quite low. I had it moved closer to the undercarriage, so perhaps since it doesn't quite fit or hang correctly somewhere it may be off the shelf (however that's a wild, uneducated guess). reading the above posts, perhaps this exhaust maybe worth keeping?? -

OK... that was the answer I was expecting... I would've preferred if I could keep the same exhaust simply because I can put the money elsewhere... Do you think that it could be a bottleneck? My Mods are: - Full Exhaust (3" Dump with hi flo cat & the twin pipe cat back) - POD - Hiflow turb running approx 10PSI My Next step was going to be a cooler, but considering this exhaust thing, i may need to go the cat back first???? -
Hi Everyone, Since purchasing the R33, I've always wondered about this... I've got an exhaust which splits into 2 x 2" pipes (could be 2.5, i dunno) from the cat back which then both lead into a single muffler. As much as I'd like to keep my exhaust, I'm wondering if a single 3-3.5" will achieve more power? Any thoughts??

Is there an organized SE meet?... i know there's a fortnightly one, but i'm not quite sure where it is and who organizes it.

mmm...coulda been me? Those times sound about right... insomnia has toasted my brain cells so i don't remember seeing a blue GTST around...

Seem as tho the new RX7 was modelled heavily on the RX8 Evo, or whatever it was called prototype. And if you look closely, the concept GTR has a bit of 350z-ness in it. I still like the prototype on ultimatecarpage.com the red one looks damn good. Wheels GTR Concept Mmmm... I wanna see the V6 TT here...

I'll see if i can fix up the scanned photo from Wheels this month, its split on two pages but u'll get the idea...

Yeh, was prob not the best way to test accuracy, hehehe, drivin under a bridge with a speed trap to find out the speed... I jus remember reading similar variances in speedo readings from other cars. I think its motor mag? or whatever that has the actual speed at 100km/h and its usually slightly under.
-
The speed sensor is in the front wheels isn't it? I thought i remembered taking it out when changing clutches... i'm prob disillusioned tho... usually happens bout this time...hehe.
-
Not sure how reliable the speed sensors are, but last time i went thru one of those speed traps in Geelong it was rougly 7km/h off. I'm guessing that they're usually 5km/h below the speedo reading. Reassuring to know that there's some buffer when driving past those speed cameras.

oh yeah... i remember the popping, but i was too busy listening to the engine rev out, actually surprised me a bit, i was thinkin; why the.... nopower...hehe. 200 on a track aye?... mmm... lotsa braking... might have a problem there. no abs.

Hey All.... What does it feel like when the speed limiter cuts in? Jus curious cause i've never felt it before. I once felt the revs bounce off 5500 rpm in fifth and i thought that was the speed limiter. I remember running against a near stock 180, and realizing that it was leaving me behind in 2nd gear. disappointing to say the least. My car is stock btw.

Kewl kewl... Sumthin' about food and fast cars that jus tends to make time pass very quickly.. hehe.

Hey All.... I'm new to all this, haven't been to any meets and whatever... Jus out of curiosity, can any SAU member drop by? or is this a somewhat restricted meet? If dis true, i'd be down for a cruise...
