Antenna got bent in the car wash ..
-
Not really, but I just like stuff on my car to work ...
-
Thanks, I was in the car wash and forgot about the antenna ... 😅 It got bent so I was looking into a replacement. However I got lucky and could make it work again.
-
Torques started following Greenline Motorsport parts? , R33 GTST Antenna Mast? and Upgraded clutch fork kit any good?
-
I'm looking into replacing the antenna mast on my R33S2. Nothing to be found on EBay ... Is there a replacement from another Nissan that would fit?

Release bearing part number R33GTSTS2?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Hello, Thanks for the input. I also saw the 4075-1S listed as R33GTST bearing https://koyo.jtekt.co.jp/en/products/detail/?pno=RCT4075-1S Here's the 40SA3 https://koyo.jtekt.co.jp/en/products/detail/?pno=RCT40SA3 Major difference seems to be 'd' which is 74.5mm vs 82.2mm Too bad I don't have an old bearing / carrier to check. -
Upgraded clutch fork kit any good?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
@BK Thanks for the input, it's not a lot of $$$ and my only concern was that the throw at the release bearing end would be different compared to the OEM setup. I think they used the shortened pivot ball to get the travel right. This is for an R33GTST .. and after 25 years a refresh wouldn't hurt. -
Upgraded clutch fork kit any good?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Cheers, The clutch isn't overly heavy (OSG TWIN) but looking at the machined pivot engagement point I thought it might be a more precise setup for the clutch... -
I'm about to change my clutch and came across this upgraded clutch fork kit: https://conceptzperformance.com/czp-upgraded-heavy-duty-clutch-fork-kit-nissan-skyline-89-92-gt-r-95-98-gts-t-r33-30531-cd000-build_p_14924.php Would that be something to consider while the clutch is out or waste of $$? Thanks

Release bearing part number R33GTSTS2?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Hi, Yes, thanks for the input. I'm more than happy to buy from NSK or NTN or SKF. It would help if I had the OEM dimensions but according to SKF I might have found something using 30502-69F10 https://vehicleaftermarket.skf.com/mt/en/products/VKC3737 -
Release bearing part number R33GTSTS2?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Hi, The situation is that I need the standard OEM release bearing for the standard clutch ... -
I'm trying to order the release bearing, the part number seems to be 30502-69F10 (?) Nengun says it is no longer available. https://www.nengun.com/oem/nissan/30502-69f10 1997 GTSTS2 Is there a replacement part # ? Cheers

Greenline Motorsport parts?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
Cheers ... I usually ordered through Nengun or RHD but Greenline is substantially cheaper on an OSG clutch service kit I need. I popped them an EMail for a quote. -
Hello, Has anyone experience ordering from https://greenline.jp ? They're offering quite competitive prices but I've never ordered from them .. Cheers

NISMO COPPER SUPER SINGLE max power (GTST)?
Torques replied to Torques's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Thanks for the feedback .. My car makes about 320kw at the engine .. and at the moment I have a OSG Twin installed. Now after 13,000km it started slipping in 4th/5th. I think the stop and go traffic killed it since the plates are worn. In an EMail OSG said the clutch is more geared towards harsh engagement and would wear used 'normal' The OSG refresh kit would cost me around GBP 450 plus (taxes, postages etc) The Nismo Single GBP 710, the Nismo Twin GBP 1,140 (all plus) That's why I was thinking just getting the single to get a bit more life out of the clutch. I also never liked the rattle of the OSG twin. On the other hand just buying the refresh kit would be the cheapest option. -

Thanks, was that the single or twin?
