  1. Thankyou - appreciate the suggestion.
  2. Yes I believe I am. CAS and coils will be done when I return the car shortly. Not sure yet as to what option I will use for each as yet. Very keen to get it done and push the tune more.
  3. Currently looking for a R35 Brembo Brake kit or similar - these stock Brembos are rubbish now! Hit me up if you have/can source/etc.
  4. I will post some better pics soon - I have car for run in and it will be going back for a finish up / check soon (including new coils). I'm still waiting on a few finishing cosmetic items. I must say a big thank you to Benny who is a big advocate for the EFR turbo - the 8474 with the 2.7L is a response monster. Power everywhere - every gear - instant power. Its amazing. Car will be re-dynod when it goes back with new coils and I will post results after that. As a comparison to my T76 (502kw at wheels) - this kills it.it would be making more than 500kw with response and power everywhere. Extremely happy. They not as pretty as the Precision - but fark me they are amazing!
  5. I really like the shifter as it doesn't have the bulky base like the Samsonas. I am having the factory gear boot re-done in Alcantara with the opening just slightly larger to accommodate the shifter. Once fitted - will look stockish at the base with just the shifter giving away any clues of shenanigans! Mexico.mp4
  6. Yes - The current shifter PRP are selling for the Albins boxes - "Billet Sequential Shifter Unit" - is what I had to wait for. The package was sold to me as a bolt in option - no mods to tunnel required / no mod to tail shaft etc. The box itself fits amazing - mechanic said fitment was spot on - just like factory. Uses stock shafts and standard cross member to - no need to purchase different cross member. But the shifter initially supplied did not work with standard tunnel - it would need to be modded - which I was not willing to do. So that's where the drama started. Back and forth for 9 months / 3 or 4 versions - and finally we have a shifter that fits without tunnel mod. Special smaller / bent fittings are also needed to make the gearbox oil lines fit with no issue/no mods to tunnel. The actual box - is fantastic. Extremely happy. Ill post a vid of the sound !

  10. lol - already got the pool mate Its D day....... consumed with this..... Pass the albins off now - and slide over to Samsonas.... or stay with Albins..... Thanks for the recommendation Brett....... for me the big thing is how easy Jason is to deal with - and how quick he responds / communicates with me.... that gives me confidence in the event of any issues.......
  11. Thanks Ben As far as a Quaife sequential - that's what I had previously - never again.
  12. Time for a update. Sadly - trying to buy the best box money could buy has turned out to be another drama. Still don't have all the items I need to install the box - this is now just ridiculous. Going on 8 months - and cant install the box they sent me as items are missing from the package that I PAID for ! Linkage bar, adapter to fit shifter and strain gauge all MIA. Abducted by aliens it appears .. I have sat silent and said nothing this whole time - patiently waiting .. and nothing has happened... I am so over this Albins box - and parties involved. Question I put to my fellow SAU'ers is this. I have a buyer for my Albins - I can just move this box on and forget about the whole nightmare of trying to own an Albins - and order a Samsonas. I spoke with them yesterday - they were sympathetic to my situation and were keen to help - but I'm looking at 5 months wait (which for some reason doesn't even seem that bad considering how long I have waited for the Albins). Let this be a lesson to anyone looking to buy a new sequential - don't make my mistake. Is really a shame what has become of this - you spend top dollar expecting the best product, service, etc - and just get nothing. What you think boys - wait it out - or f*ckem and move onto Samsonas? Opinions? Dan
  13. Shifter arrived this week......
  14. They definitely not the best looking turbo. but I'm hoping the response and drive will help me over it
