  1. If anyone has genuine Nissan GTR floor mats would be *very* interested. (on the back of the mat is a cloth tag with nissan care and handling stuff). If not, then standard Nissan ones. Not interested in NISMO ones.
  2. Hi all, Someone's made an offer on the lot minus the coil packs. So right now the only thing going are the stock GTR coil packs. (Will sell for $200) Thanks all for your interest. Didn't expect to off load it all so quickly.
  3. I've had multiple people PM me about the injectors and this forum won't let me reply to more than 1 PM at a time I'll go $450 for the injectors. They've done about 20,000 kms on the car. I'm about 90% sure my fuel rail is stock. Either way I've added some photos...
  4. Hi all, Upgdaded my engine in my GTR R33 and I got the old parts for sale. Car was happily doing 350Kw at the wheels before the upgdade. CP forged pistons 6x Serial/Model: 58-2 (origionally $1800) Forged Rods: Serial: Y7483 (origionally $1800) Injectors 6x: 700CC SARD 195500-0830 (origionally $1200) Coil Packs 6x: stock (nissan) GTR 22433 60U02 HANSHIN MCP-300 N1 Oil Pump. (Needs a good clean) Stuff's been lying around in the garrage in boxes since. Happy to get rid of the stuff for a few hundred. ($700 for the lot say)... If you want some of it or all of it... just PM me or post reply. Happy to negotiate. Can deliver it to most places in Sydney too (for free). Outta town buyers should pay postage n stuff
  5. Lots of wheels going for sale ... Anyone got ONE wheel to suit a GTR R33. (18")...
  6. f**king computers... As someone who designs systems for a living i'm more than qualified to say.... f**king computers... Not to be outdone... I went back and repeated the whole process... (got in car... ignition to ON 5 firm presses)... no light. Turned ignition OFF. Started car. Light stayed OFF. Win. I didn't know bill gates was Japanese and worked for Nissan??!? ... f**king stupid computers... lol
  7. Can someone post the codes for what the blinking stuff means? After entering diagnostic mode (pressing 5 times (hold the button down for a while don't just press it madly) within the first 7 seconds. ... its off long on long, on short off short. repeat.
  8. Hi, Question about exhausts... I know bigger is better when it comes to turbos.... Lets say i'm running 1.5BAR boost on N1s... making about 350AWKW. Looking at getting a new exaust n try n keep the noise down in the process.. I'm wondering if i should be going 3.5 from the dump pipes... inch or 3 inch from the cat. I could be mistaken but I think the stock dump pipes are 2.5inch diameter? Which would mean there's... 2.5 r=1.25 areax1=4.91 area x2=9.817477042 9.8in^2 area... (seems a bit big but thats what the maths say pi * r ^2 *2 ...) Now into a single 3 inch ... 3 r=1.5 area=7.07in^2 or 3.5 inch.. 3.5 r=1.75 area=9.62in^2 On that alone it would seem that anything less than 3.5 inches is going to be rather restrictive... However, anyone got any thoughts on changes between 3.5 and 3" setups in terms of noise and power around 300-400 kw?
  9. Hi, Currently my gtr's making about 350awkw ... Now i've noticed what i *think* is fuel starvation infrequently in a straight line, but last track day it was happening alot. So I ended up driving around pretty dam slow and cut my track day short... I've been thinking about upgrading the fuel pump... but then I figured I'd just go the whole mile and get a surge tank at the same time. The major drawback of a surge tank for me (on a street car) would have to be the constant noise of the pump. I've had a look around and have found 2 pumps that seem pretty good... http://www.sx-performance.com/Fuel_Pumps.htm 18203 Is what i was looking at http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive_new/mc...umps_main.shtml #1792 has a free flow rate of 160 GPH, enough to feed a 1000 hp engine. Now despite the branding both of these pumps are manufactured by Essex Industries who do alot of work for the US Defence n arospace etc. I'm guessing there not too far apart. The other band i've heard good things about has been mallory http://www.malloryperformance.com/pdf/Fuel...em_Products.pdf Anyone used these or care to throw in an opinion?
  10. 6.5" In front ... forget the rears. (unless you have too much money) ... #1 rule is get them installed properly. You can spend a few hundred dollars or a few thousand dollars. If there not installed right there going to sound shit! 6x9s does NOT equal bass. If the 6.5" are installed well then they can produce surpising amounts of bass (providing the speakers aren't complete rubbish ie the factory ones ). As for the boot space... Here's a GTR setup (small boot anyway) ... which produces stupid amounts of bass and doesn't eat up too much boot space. I've currently running a rockford sub (which is pretty cheap wholesale and requires 0.8cuFeet sealed which is really small). But getting back on topic Here's what a really bassy 6.5" front door looks like:
  11. Hi, Just wondering if anyone has some Genuin Nissan GTR floor mats avaliable for an R33. If so please PM me. Thanks, Craig.
  12. Very nice... i'm running the same front splits in my R33 and was thinking about getting an OzAudio sub myself. Nice intall. How's the sub sound? never heard one of them babies thump
  13. Hey, just thought i'd say a few words about a car audio install I got a few days ago. I started out looking for a good quality system and ended up going to FHRX. The main reasons is common discount retail shops such as generally don't have a clue or the right brands and other 'quality' franchise places tend to overcharge. You'd be hard pressed to get a better intall of the equipment and labour, considering how much time was actually spent was rediculously cheap. Have a look at the texture in the A colum and then try to work out how they did it They also like to take lots of happy snaps http://zen.cable.nu/cgi-bin/photos.pl?titl...ion=car/audio1/ of the install as they go so you get to see all the stuff you otherwise wouldn't. Yeha anyway... getting back to the Sound Off... 2 days after I got back my hifi the SQ (Sound Quality) comp was on I came along, entered and managed to win 2nd in ameture street. It was a good day dispite the rain and i'd really encourage anyone out there to come along. Free food and donouts and chocolate!!! =D What the judges are looking for in SQ is... well... quality. (not quantitiy)... The general idea is that a live recording should sound like a live peformance. Even if you don't have a hifi its a really good oppertunity to come along and see and listen to what other people have done. There's all kinds of budgets, from high end show cars to DIY < $1000 systems. One of the better scores actually went to one that was under $1000 simply because it was well setup. (MB Quart fronts, 100W clarion sub). More info on the event can be found at: http://www.mobileelectronics.com.au/forums...showtopic=82892 The next round should be coming along some time in May. I'll post some info in the events section when it gets closer.
