V36 Rev Probs, Firmware Update Anyone?
petern replied to awsam's topic in VQ Series - V35, V36 & Infiniti
I reckon it is the VCT being sensitive to oil used. I had Penrite 10 tenth in the car for a period of 5000km and it had the stutter at random times - cold, warm hot... Change to Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5w30 - not a single stutter 2007 V36 sedan with 50,xxxkm Can't hurt to try on the next oil change -
Got them through www.amayama.com Used them twice now and pretty happy

$34 - driver side $38 - passenger side + 7.50 delivery depending on the Aussie dollar or a can of plasti dip works too - still strong after 3 months

My New Koya Sf06 Are So Sexy On V36... :o
petern replied to KeoCruz's topic in VQ Series - V35, V36 & Infiniti
Looks good Did you end up getting Eibachs directly? -
Had to order a new key so bought some other bits too. Clear lenses for the interior light - seen them on the US forums so i thought i'll try Door finishers - they haven't got it right with the rubber coating on these door handles(2007), they still scratch just as easily like on my r33. In saying that the coating does look thicker with these new door finishers. Part numbers in case another else needs

You can order the Eibach springs direct: http://www.eibach.com.au/contact/ It was under $500 delivered for the Pro-kit last year. This is how she sits with them

Programming New V36 Smart Key Fob
petern replied to BurtoN86's topic in VQ Series - V35, V36 & Infiniti
I actullay just got my spare key for my 2007 V36 programmed yesterday! The original fob went missing/lost but fortunately I bought a new key from Japan and had it cut, but could not find anyone in sydney to program it. Until now.... Used a mobile guy Marco (marcoautolocksmiths.com.au) 0402 227 228 - free plug as this guy got us out of trouble. He connected his laptop and managed to get the 4 digit PIN straight away. Tried programing the normal way and waiting 10mins but no go. He told me he had to connect to the car ECU and "wake it up", then he did a few other things. But when I saw the side mirror flip open, he was on the right path. -
Not likely mate. 2 second 60fters for the rest of the runs Speaking of Pro street towing......Joe towed me back home after I broke my cv - nice guy to come out on a nice Sunday afternoon I hear from him the car is back at UE for the injectors - had mind put in an tuned on the Thursday night.

Thanks to SAU:NSW for organising a great event, shame the car called it quits just before lunch (silver 1600). Had 4 and a half runs, best was the very first one of 11.6 @ 123mph 1.8 60ft Best mph was 125 Awesome to be able for have 4 runs within an hour, compared to 1 run per hour on Wednesday nights. Picture of snapped cv spline.
